He may have some big moves ahead of him in the next 2 movies
Well he should be in a lot of fights now that you don't need any training to become a jedi. Hell, even a storm trooper can pick up a light sabre and go head to head with a sith lord.

At the very minimum, you'd end up killing some LEDs in the blade, so I'll say no.

I've saw videos…. you don't have to use these for fighting…. there is other ways you can get some pleasure out of them.
Original price is $399, it was on sale last month for $239 so this is a great deal. I could not resist the dark side at this price.

Bought 1 Yoda and 1 Darth Vader sabers last time Target had a deal on them.
I must say, these Hasbro versions are not as detailed and the materials used are not as robust as the Master Replica ones ($240).
Looking on Youtube videos, the Kylo Ren saber looks also more like a toy than a collectable.Yeah got them last deal too. Close inspection can tell it isn't made to the highest finest quality but for $99 it is still a good deal.
Wonder any stores have stocks at all?The Vader one is quite well made. Metal hilt, somewhat accurate and has weight to it.
I think if you glued crushed glass along the Kylo saver blades you could simulate that jagged effect to create more of a prop replica. Seen this done on sci-fi weapon props,

@wtfnodeal: we do that for each other for many things. I feel a bit bad for those families who don't.
@Tihocan: yeah. Some have to beg for forgiveness buying stuff like this or games when the wives think they are just waste of money. On the other hand closets full of clothings and shoes never get worn even once seems reasonable to them.

Rang up a few stores and they told me that they never got this one in stores it was always an online only.
I just checked Toys R Us online, they also have these for $99..
The Star Wars Episode 7 Kylo Ren Ultimate FX Lightsaber for $99 isn't the same as the Force FX version. This one is a toy and the other is a TOY :). If you've bought it for $99 from TRU, I'd LOL :)

Still need to fix my Darth Vader one up from Master Replicas… the rubber grips have become sticky due to age.
The same happened to mine, i need to give it a good aervicing. Worthwhile. Those Master Replicas lightsabers are getting valuable.
