Vodafone has double inclusions if you port your number to voda thanks to eddblix and battler
But you need to hurry and port your number to Voda BEFORE 17th July. SO if you order tonight or tomorrow, well express post your order with a random free $2 sim (lyca,telstra,boost,amaysim or optus) on Monday via standard post so you should receive it by Friday.         • They do porting on Saturdays as well. If you ask nicely, they'll do it in 10 minutes for you.

  • How do you get 20GB using a $50 starter pack? I've ported my number over on Friday and my account is still showing only 7.5Gb with the usual 28 days expiry.

        I can confirm that it's not 10 GB. It's only 7.5Gb. As for double inclusions, it's been 5 days and they haven't been doubled yet and expiry is still 28 days.

    did these actually get posted on monday as promised?

    what's the bet that "well express post your order on Monday .. this is a time sensitive deal" actually turned into "we'll chuck it into regular post on tuesday"

  • Did anyone order for a nano sim and get a micro sim that seemed to be cut with a hack saw blade? It's got jagged edges, doesn't fit my iPhone sim slot :(

    • Ordered Sat night and just got mine today.

      Mine wasn't too bad. The edges weren't perfect and so didn't sit quite flush in the tray, but I just had to give it a very slight trim on the side and then it fit fine.

    • Actually after that trim it doesn't fit my Samsung while it fits the iPhone :( will have to go into Vodafone to get an actual nano SIM.

      • imagine ozb has put hundreds of orders on their site, they are a small business peobably only 1-2people organizing everything like shipping and cutting simcards as these are old starter packs and there is no nano sim available at that time. so please understand people at least everyone got it before friday as they promised.

  • When you activate, make sure you check after 72 hours that the double inclusion come through. Mine had to be manually applied via live chat. It should be applied automatically. So not bad, 17GB of data from a $50 sim I had from the previous Huawei Y550 deal. So technically free for me.

  • Well my $40 sims arrived today. Just in the nick of time.

    Got a full-sized $2 sim though, which shouldn't be a problem.

  • that was a nice deal from Phonebot and I have found them good for getting budget deals on Internet lately. But unfortunately I tried my connection and it's absolute rubbish, Vodafone are terribly slow compared to other ISP's at least for me. I won't write it all here again but there is more on this http://australiaforums.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=284 if anyone is interested. I'm not sure if I should look around for another wireless deal or wait for a day and see if it gets any better? Anyone else find Vodafone very slow?

    • I find it is the fastest compared to Optus and Telstra.

      It all depends on where you live and whether the tower is closer to you. Or to rephrase, where you spend most of your time.

  • I activated a $50 starter pack several days ago which bought from Coles and ported my number, but no double inclusion. Had called Vodafone, they said because I bought it from Coles, not from a VF store.

    I had also bought some from OP but now I'm not sure if they are also excluded from this double inclusion offer?

    • they must be excluded otherwise others would have posted about this by now. that sucks they did not accept ones from coles.

    Excuse my ignorance, but I have just ported my number successfully to Vodafone but I just only have 17GB data. Do you guys know why? ( Op said it would have 20GB included)

  • Anyway I must have brain rot or something.. I just realized i cancelled some Telstra sim numbers so it would be easier to activate a Telstra Sim to port (ie having too many active sims is a problem)

    When what i should have done is port of of those active numbers. ><

    I think i might have a active Optus number.. lol

      • Yeah your supposed to have no more than 7 active sim then it supposed to get harder to activate. You are supposed to provide a physical/electronic copy of your ID for additional SIMS activation.

        Plus I experience really weird issues. Where I cant make outbound calls to certain Telstra numbers with new sims after 1 week of using them, takes a phone call and 1-2 week to rectify regardless of the provider. (Vodaphone or Telstra.) Nowadays I dont even bother by the time the fix the routing issues im nearly up to a new sim. I just call those numbers using whatsapp. Even SMS doesn't work on those numbers.

        Plus if I dont bind a Telstra sim to my Telstra account i cant even get that sim activated after 3 days. I think I fail the security checks. The usually say my ID was not accepted.

  • Hi there I received the SIM cards yesterday (ordered Saturday) thank you just in time. Did anyone port the number over using the free SIM card included? I had a message from Vodafone saying the request to port has been rejected not sure if I did it incorrectly?

    • Nvm found out where I went wrong. I thought the $2 sim was already activated and it wasn't. So I ported a number that doesn't exist. Will lose out on the double data dang :(

    Purchased on Sunday , Posted on Tuesday…………… still has not arrived. Won't be able to take advantage of this deal as it will expire once I receive it.

      • I have never lost nor had any troubles receiving parcels previously.

        Anyway, I have spoken with them and they have offered a refund once it arrives next week.

    For those of you who have ported but not received your double inclusions yet: I talked to the live chat this morning and apparently it can take up to 72 hours. Provided that you port in with an existing number by 17 July, you will be eligible.

    If any of you ported today and the porting is not complete yet, I recommend to give their porting department a call on 1300 130 741 and they will complete the process for you.

    My porting was not completed even after 3 hours after I submitted the request online. I called their customer service number to no use. I didn't wanted to be stuck until Monday without my number. So, I called the above number and it was done in 10 minutes.

    The Standard Hours of Operation for Ports are Monday-Friday from 08:00 to 20:00 AEST, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 18:00 AEST. Porting is NOT available on the following days:

    Sundays
    New Year’s Day
    Australia Day
    Good Friday
    Easter Sunday
    ANZAC Day
    Christmas Day
    For all other Public Holidays, Porting may be reduced to Saturday hours.

      Yeah i had to call them as well to have it done in 15 minutes.
      No porting even after 24 hours of putting in the request online.Vodafone's online systems seem to be crap.
      I had no such issues before when i ported from Vaya>Aldimobile>Amaysim>woolworths as all were done in 15 minutes after putting in request online.

    • I also had to call them to port as my online porting failed. I just got my double allowance notification SMS. I only got 16 GB though..

  • Anyone else had a bad experience with Phonebot forgetting to post the second sim in a multiple quantity order turns what looks like a good deal into a very poor one. No response from the store as yet but I live in hope!

    No double inclusions for me yet. I contacted vodafone support yesterday and apparently they will have it investigated. Still nothing…..

    • Still no double inclusions. Yesterday i had contacted vodafone through chat which turned out to be useless.
      So today morning i called them up and apparently they will put my double inclusions within 4 hours.
      Lets see….

      • Finally got the double inclusions! 8.5 GB + 7.5 GB and 56 days.
        Happy with that.

  • my data didnt get applied until after i spoke with them over the phone. however they were only willing to give me double data and expiry date. no bonus data. so 7.5gb x 2 months. how did you guys get the 10gb per month?
