I've been able to overnight things from china and japan in the past so longas I'm willing to pay for it.

If I buy something from GeekBuying, can we provide 2 day shipping if I'm willing to throw money at it?

  • do u have LeTV Le Max X900 4GB 32GB/64GB on special?

    • There is no X900 in stock currently.

  • Does MEIZU M3 Note 5.5" support dual sim first on 4g and 2nd on 3g?

    • No 3G on the second. Only 4G/3G and 2G.

  • Prices in $A on Geekbuying website are approximately $25 more than those shown above by OP.

    • +2

All prices are in USD and I'm required by Ozbargain to have the equivalent price in AUD based on the exchange rate.

Paying in US with a credit card like 28 Degrees with no currency conversion fees will get it close to the price.

      • I understand you are required to include the price in $AUD. I just wondered why you did not quote the $AUD price from the Geekbuying website?

        • Because I know that it's quite inaccurate.

  • do u have P8Max on special?

    • I'll GB for a price.

      • P8Max price pls?

If only the 4GB RAM Mi Max is on sale… Do you have it Rep?

    • I'm after the 4GB Mi Max as well. Please give a deal op.

    • Not in stock yet. I have no ETA currently.

      • Clear can you tell us long is the wait for mi Max 3GB model.?

Like some others i ordered last week from another deal and not heard anything yet.

  • -1

Not sure why the Xiaomi deals get good OzB ratings - great spec phones for sure but since none of the models support Telstra 700 then really limited usefulness in Australia I would have thought.

    • We still have 1800, which is just a slower 4G but it is pretty fast for whatever need to be done for me including watching youtube videos. So, 700 band is nice to have but it is not the end of the world if a phone comes without it.

VNWJBBZC, try this 5% is slightly better than 10USD off.

    • +1

Yes. I don't have an exact time on when.

      • When the time comes, can you please post a deal up for the 4GB ram variant? Thanks! =)

        • Yeah sure.

    • gearbest have them and I just spoke with them and start shipping on 20/07, price is also quite good with 8% off GBFOROCUPON, plust giving assistant currently has 7.5% cashback, this bring the 128gb/4gb variant very close to offical RRP at 310.245USD.

  • Looks good.

Do you have an idea when the deal will expire - I don't get paid till next Tuesday.

    • 1 month minimum from time of posting.

      • Spoke to the boss & purchased the Mi Max :)

      • Sorry, the coupon code is not valid for orders less than USD 237

  • Never mind, i added retailmenot coupon and it came down to S225.81 USD

What's the processing time usually like on Geekbuying, I brought DHL shipping but the order hasn't moved even though payment cleared straight away.

    • It's usually within 3 business days, but there was a delay in new stock. Orders will be shipped from today.

      • So 3 days from yesterday when you got stock?

      • +1

        Still no updates..

        Do you even have stock?

        • I'm waiting on a response from Geekbuying and I'll let you know.

        • I contacted them and no reply. I think it is pretty clear they don't have stock. It most likely wasn't their fault. Factory not having enough or something along those lines. They are ignoring my email probably because they know stock will be in "soon" and just want to avoid the flak.

  • 9 days after ordering, I'm still waiting for my phone to be shipped. OP, is it normal?

    • When there's no stock, yup :)

  • +1

    My order apparently now shipped.

    • +1

Just got my shipped notification too.

      • I assume you got a Mi Max? If so, is it being shipped from Singapore?

  • Really disappointing, wait over a week for the phone to ship and now the DHL tracking number doesn't work.

I contacted geekbuying and got brushed off.

I'd never buy anything from them again.

    Matt

How long ago did you receive the tracking number? It takes time or DHL to update it in their system.

  • just wanted to make a post as i've noticed these guys seem to be getting some flak. i ordered my mi max from geekbuying on 19/7 and it shipped out via DHL on 24/7. i got it 1 day later on the 25th. thats 6 days from placing the order…seems pretty good to me

  • Ordered on the 13th of July and here is the current update. Seems it's DHL's fault, but I seriously doubt it.

Going to do a Paypal dispute tommorow.

    Dear friend
    you have two parcels
"???" is the first parcel ,it sent out on 2016-07-23 , maybe the information haven't update
    Just wait for it
    Have a nice day!
    Janice

    • Order number?

      • Order No: 3711910

        Matt

  • Received my max today. So far so good.

  • +1

Still nothing for me and DHL completed a search and said nothing found including looking for the delivery address.

I must be an idiot, haven't disputed the transaction with PayPal yet. I remain in hope.

    Matt

  • I lodged the PayPal dispute yesterday and all of a sudden I get a DHL tracking notification.

The DHL tracking showing it shipped last night!

So all this time they have been lying about it already shipped.

    Unbelievable.

Not sure if OzBargain black lists dodgy organisations, I'm happy to provide all the email history.

GB would have marked it as shipped when DHL picked up the package. It's taken this long for DHL to process and send it from their facility.

  • Are you seriously saying that DHL waited nearly two weeks to bother picking up a package? Really..? Geekbuying advised it was "shipped" on the 23rd July.

DHL in emails confirms they had no package in the system under that ID or coming to my address.

After raising the dispute with Paypal yesterday all of a sudden DHL tracking shows the package was PICKED UP from geekbuying last night. FYI it was sorted and international transfer happened overnight as well.

Are you really saying that DHL is at fault and sat on this for two weeks..? Seriously…?

    Matt

    • Alright then please disregard.
