Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX RAM 32GB 2400MHz (2x16GB) $176 @ PC Byte eBay

CTEC20

Obligatory link to original eBay 20% off tech deal post.
Not sure why I need 32GB of RAM but my current rig has 16GB so I feel the need to double down. Didn't find it this morning when the deal started, tried my luck and found this. Probably overkill for most people, myself included.
Not sure if this is CL16 or CL14, at this price, I'd imagine it's CL16. Cheaper than Umart (CL14 though) at $200 and Megabuy (CL16) at $199 (shipped to Brisbane, maybe more elsewhere). As cheap as other DDR4 RAM 32GB kits at other stores on staticice but they all drop ship and after shipping this is cheaper by ~$10 or so.
Don't forget your $~2 off from cashrewards.

EDIT: Eh, turns out they have no stock. Order cancelled. Probably best to avoid these guys, had to get a refund on the motherboard too.

Are you prepared for the internal conflict and self doubt after you have installed the 32, and realise you only have 32?

    • I will look at the empty RAM slots every time I open the case and have a mini-extistential crisis over whether or not to go to 64GB.

  • Good price but im still finding difficulties using all my 16gb ram even after running chrome and black ops 3 at the same time.

be careful with pcbyte, last time I ordered memory I got notification that it was shipped, after 4 days I tried their tracking number and it was invalid, contacted pcbyte was told that it was'accidentally' marked as posted but they promised to send it asap, week later contacted again, was told that they are out of stock and no idea when it becomes available, had to file a case through ebay, waiting for a refund.

I have a similar experience when I have purchase 2 SSDs from them. I have still waiting for the refund from eBay after 8 weeks. My money is stuck in limbo. Will not buy from them again.

i concur. Bought some Kingston 2666 DDR4 RAM last 20% code on eBay before EOFY and kept on being promised postage. 2 weeks later and after calling them got told no stock and supplier can't guarantee delivery in less than 1-2 weeks. Then the fun began asking for a refund. That took almost a week and a half with half assed excuses about the computer system not allowing PAYPAL refunds. I had to escalate to PAYPAL resolution before I got the money back (from PAYPAL not them)

Having said that I had a separate order of MicroSD cards which got posted same day…

Exact same thing happened to me. Sh#t Company, i'll be telling everyone i can not to buy from them in hopes they suffer some kind of loss.

      Bahaha, exactly same experience here.

As soon as ordered 3 items a message about one only was sent saying we arent going to ship until our supplier gets more stock - meaning they never intended on shipping by the eBay ETA.

Then the remaining two items did not arrive either.

I requested a refund, on all three items three days after the last ETA day. They ended up express posting one item 3 weeks after ETA. Refunded me money after holding my money for a month.

And to think people here were neg voting me when I said my experience alone shows a pattern of deception. Now a lot of other people say the same thing. enjoy being ripped off by pc.byte.

    • Intresting. I'll keep that in mind. I'm in no real hurry to build my new computer, but thanks for the heads up.

  • All these comments have me worried. I just bought over $700 of PC parts from them.

    • may the force be with you ;)

    • No need to be concerned about having your parts delivered(As you have paypal buyer protection and ebay for 45days). I believe you need to be more concerned about having Pcbyte honoring their warranty obligation(Just in case the manafucture decided to say PC Byte is not authorized seller).

      • Buyers protection through Paypal for 180 days i think.

PCBYTE is the worst store I've ever bought off, please save yourself the hassle.

  • Dodgy dodgy dodgy!!!!!!

How can you sell an item that isn't in stock without mentioning that?

At least change the Estimated delivery date to "unknown" or several weeks out.

Messaged on ebay asking when I can expect dispatch … got a reply saying sorry we are waiting for our supplier

I have asked to cancel my order and refund… I will have all my other new PC parts by Friday (thanks Futu) except for the ram?

    Dodgy!

    • Yep, they have done this with the ram i bought. They sent a message saying no stock but on ebay they advertise as having more than 10 available.

  • Avoid at all costs, no stock, had to cancel order, refund process to be initiated.

*** Ridiculous that ebay can "headline" a company like this under the CTEC20 deal! ***
