  • $49 Shipping brings it to $926.60. Still the best price I've seen on a 60" 4K TV, but not quite low enough for me to bite just yet.

  • +2

Bang for buck TCL pretty hard to beat decent picture

  • I saw some TCL's on display at Seconds World the other day. Obviously this is more of an entry level set, but PQ is very decent for the ones I saw on display. Their high ends comparable to Samsung, Panasonic's that were on display next to it. I would assume their lower ends, such as this, would compete with low end brand names also.

  • Sure hope that TCL's user interface has improved, or at least is more workable on their higher-models: bought an entry level model, and it has this ridiculous quirk where the TV screen has to be turned on (ie. displaying) in order to have timer-recording. So… first you have to set up a schedule manually (it won't let you record 'as is' from the EPG), THEN* you have to fiddle around with another schedule for turning the TV on (& off).

Oh, and while you're recording, you cannot watch anything else from other sources, no HDMI, no VGA, etc. nada. No other TV I've bought have these restrictions. Even VHS recorders of yore were more flexible.

    • My 2011 LG will only let you watch what you are recording and it wont fully turn off but does go into a sleep state where the screen is powered off.

I bought a PVR to fix the problem.

  • ended by the seller as there was an error?
