Hello Ozbargainers

My friends and I are about to open Melbourne’s first dedicated Poké store on the 27th of July!

Poké originates from Hawaii and is a delicious healthy meal that combines sustainably sourced fresh fish with many different salads, toppings and sauces. For those of you who don’t have a palette for raw fish we have alternatives!

To celebrate we are offering free poké from 11-2PM and half price poké for the rest of the day. We are on Healeys lane, just off little Lonsdale and will be open from 11am until 9pm everyday.

So please come in and say hi! Let us know you are an Ozbargainer, as we will be organising a private Ozbargain poké making class for the first ten people who let us know that they are part of this top secret community (feel free to secretly slide us a note with your details so we can contact you)!

For all of you who came to this post for the free poké balls, you will not be disappointed! We are located on top of 3 Pokéstops and we shall have lures on them for the entire week. Do the lures work? A Dragonite has been seen and captured 3 times in the last week at the Pokéd. See proof here

    Ahh it's such a trek from my office (south west end of CBD) but when you have opened and settled down I am definitely coming up there one lunch time to check this out.

    (Can't afford to burn hours waiting in a line for a free meal unfortunately :( )

      I am in the exact same boat, working on Spring St.
      I wish there was someway that I could line up remotely or preorder my meal as I would love to try this even at half price!

    This sounds pretty awesome. Will try to make it on Wednesday, otherwise will make sure to pop over sometime to give it a go!
    With your salad, is it possible to exclude the cucumber?

        Neither of which are necessarily "sustainable"…one thing's for sure though, OP will make a few bucks in the short term milking the fad til it's over, can't fault them for that strategy. ;)

    Menu ideas

    Bellsprout and Oddish salad with poached Psyduck or teriyaki Tauros.

    Tangela noodles with Krabby and Goldeen, garnished with Farfetchd's leek. Shellder is an optional extra.

    Looked at your menu, the cucumber is in your sauce? Just asking as I'm one of those odd people who don't like cucumber.

      Yes, its in the base flavour, but not inside the actual sauce, so just let us know and we won't add it in when we are making yours!

    itd be great to have a menu on the poked web page, i dont care about the pokemon stuff and i cant attend the free bowels but i do want to know if im moving for more than a rebadged sushi

    Just got mine, was worth the wait! Yummy!

    The person taking my order didn't understand what Ozbargain was, missed out on that cooking class :(
