LCD / PLASMA / LED Wall Mount Bracket 37 40 42 46 50 52inch TV's = $40 Inc Delivery Aust. Wide

420

END OF FINANCIAL YEAR CLEARANCE - LCD and PLASMA Wall Mounting Brackets !!

Hi Everyone,

I’ve noticed some pretty good deals on Ozbargain for TV’s lately - so I figure there are many Ozbargaineers out there looking to wall mount their new TV’s.

We've run this promotion twice before on Ozbargain to help us clear stock and sold several hundred each time we've run the promotion.

We’re running the same LCD and Plasma TV wall mount bracket promotion again - Only for Ozbargain readers !!

We buy container loads of these, and these are the last batch we bought when the Australian Dollar was up around 93c (now down to 81c US) so grab the last batch we bought when the exchange rate was high !

These wall mounting brackets are similar to that sold by JB and other retailers for around $200-300. Even Big W sells a far worse quality product for $148 !!

High Quality Bracket (steel) which will supoort 37 to 52” TV Which comply to the international VESA standard for wall mounting (the mounting holes on the back of the TV are either 20 x 20cm apart or 20 x 40cm apart).

Our brackets are retail boxed and include mounting hardware.

Adelaide collection is available if you are local (collection price is $30.00)

I challenge anyone to find a better quality steel bracket at a lower price delivered anywhere in Oz !

This deal is valid until 30/06/2010 - or until we run out of stock (currently around 200 in stock)

We’ve currently got both BLACK and SILVER colour in stock, be sure to select the colour you want from the drop down box in the bottom right corner of the promotion page.

As these brackets are heavy, we cannot discount shipping for combined orders but we are happy to process multiple orders for retailers or resellers.

(PS: We also sell these on eBay for $29.99 each + Freight, so this is Ozbargain exclusive deal is certainly better: http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&u…

The deal may be pulled if we run out of stock, but we've got a few hundred left so we should be ok.

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/37-60-LED-Plasma-LCD-TV-Slim-Wall-Mou…

That's $35.50 delivered albeit regular post, should only be 3 dollars more for registered so still cheaper.

    • +4

Thanks Trance, please note the thickness of the steel, the tilt angle and the double brace on our wall mount (two claws hang on to wall mounted part), we can supply these cheaper brackets too if that's what you are after.

He's got a good product and sold 132 of them in that listing.

We've sold 279 of ours ;-) at the higher price.

Yes you're right. Your product does seem like a stronger and sturdier product, nice positive coming your way now.

  • wheres the pickup place?
    i want to get two.

    • Hi - pickup is from our warehouse at Wingfield (4 First Street, Wingfield), we have all pickups on Saturday mornings, please PM me if you'd like to confirm a time.

  • hmm our walls are gybrock. would that work?

    • There should be some studs in your wall, find those and this should line up with the studs to support the weight of the TV.

    • +1

Exactly as Trance has said, you need to find the studs in the wall, fixing to gyprock is a very very very bad idea.

  • Wouldn''t happen to sell 55" - 70"?

This is a great deal. Thank you

    • Haha richie.

    • Thanks for the email, we've got a larger size as well to suit the 55-63" TV's - they are an extra $10, basically the same bracket made out of thicker gauge steel again and a slightly longer backplate to spread the extra weight across your wall.

      • Nice, so how do I get the $50 one?

BTW how much extra for the swivel one?

  • Can't fault these. Used to work at an electronics retailer and all our brackets were marked up nearly 80%. Didn't look any better quality than these being offered. I always sold brackets 50% off but even then they were $60-80. These look like a great deal.

  • The House of Target has these in the Rank Arena brand for $49 and supports upto 50kgs. Love the peace of mind with them in that if I don't like it or the quality is bad, I can always dump it back with them. So how would these rate against the Target ones?

    • Eats the Rank Arena for breakfast. Check our eBay feedback, around 2,000 satisfied customers (around 2 mildly unhappy ones - who were nut jobs anyway).

      • nice :)
So how can I order the stronger one?

      • +1

that's some nice thoughts about ur customers there haha

  • Tried to click on the link but it's telling me problem loading page. Also tried the feedback link and that didn't work either… is it just me?

  • Nice deal - but is it just me or is the page not loading?

    • Oops - working now.

  • your website doesn't work. how do i arrange to pick one of these up?
    works now.. oops

  • +1

If you want to collect one come down to our warehouse next Saturday morning 10.30am, 4 First Street, Wingfield SA 5013. Website is working fine - I have been busy processing Ozbargain orders for the past 30 mins. Please try again, could be overloaded.

    • ur website doesn't let you choose $30 pick up option. how do i pay for one or reserve one?

      • Just lob up to the warehouse next Saturday morning at 10.30am for collection. 4 First Street, Wingfield. I usually keep a few spares at home or in the car, so even if we run out of warehouse stock I should still have a few floating around so I can guarantee you'll get one next Saturday. 4 First Street, Wingfield SA 5013.

  • yeah, i was just wondering if there was a link to the 55inch one thats online. Thanxs

    • Hi - I have tried to PM you the details but you have your ozbargain preferences set not to accept mail from other users, please email me on ebay#ozebay.com (replace # with @)and I'll provide details on how to pay for the larger size.

  • Can you confirm I could use the larger ones for a 50". Would like the extra piece of mind.

    • Yes you can use the larger brackets for 50" - but really it is overkill.

  • What about mounting these on the ceiling? ie. the front of the TV facing the floor.

Are there special braces for that or will these do the job? I obviously don't want a 50" TV falling to the floor, especially when I'm udner it.

    • No - part of the bracket it attached to the wall by screws - the other parts are attached to the back of the tv with screws, the tv is then hitched onto the wall part of the bracket - it will not work on the ceiling.

Sorry the brackets are no good for ceiling mounting, mirrors on the ceiling will probably be more fun anyway.

  • good deal. Gonna get one. Do you sell any corner mounts?

    • You can't really get corner mounts for large flatscreens as the arms needed to support the tv end up being 1/2 the length of the entire TV, which places too much strain on the arms, a ceiling pole mount is a better bet if you want to mount in a corner (we don't sell these as there isn't huge demand for them). This is the closest thing we have.

      http://cgi.ebay.com.au/LCD-PLASMA-TILT-SWIVEL-WALL-BRACKET-M…

I'm happy to offer free delivery on these for Ozbargain readers, just use "Ozbargain" in the comments field when paying via paypal and not including the freight component.

  • Got any for 32"?

    • No sorry we're currently sold out of those ;-(

      • Would really like a 32" bracket too.

        • i'm another one interested in a 32" when they're back

  • Hey jason101,

Do these have a safety bar that slides across the bottom of the bracket so you can't lift the plasma/lcd up when this bar is inserted and it also backs up as a anti-theft device as you can put a lock on one side of it when inserted?

    Hope that makes sense

    Cheers

    • Hi Rewstar, we opted not to use the lockable bars on this order (we had them in previous orders and they caused the average punter too much trouble to work out how to use them, leading to endless email chains with people trying to explain how to use it properly), as an anti theft device they are pointless as if you yank the TV hard enough (as if you were trying to steal it) the screws that attach the tv to the main part if the bracket simply break the back of the TV anyway).

  • Is there anything to stop the TV (hitch) from sliding off sideways on the bracket?

    • +1

Yes about 50-60kg of TV with a huge amount of friction, if you are really paranoid you can notch the slide hitch to make a slight divet in the rail which will make it impossible to move horizontally.

Have a look at your TV now and try and slide it off the side of your cabinet - about the same force is required to move it on the bracket - if you divit the rail, its then impossible to move it.

  • hi jason101 - what is the normal price including delivery?? on ebay?

    • Hi - the price varies according to your delivery postal code. Saving is between $6-20 depending on where you live. Keep in mind the prices on ebay are already about 80% less than typical retail price.

      • Thanks My postcode is 3037 so can you please give me the price including delivery on ebay thanks - i am just asking because i liked your product and I am buy my new TV in a month or two so I'll buy this bracket then -

  • nvm, i just ordered it to be delivered. :)

  • Bought one of these a while back from Jason, works a treat. Looking at my Sony 52" LCD up on the wall right now! Very easy to install and the steel is nice and thick, which is confidence-inspiring!

  • which one should i get/choose for my 55inch LED?

    • email me on ebay#ozebay.com (replace # with @) for and I'll invoice you $50 for one of the larger type to suit the 55-60inch TV's.

  • I just got one of these off ebay and with my 9th gen panasonic viera Plasma this mount can't hold it up straight. The weight of it makes it drop to 15 degrees down.. I've jammed a couple of bits of wood in ther for now to keep it flat against the wall.. So beware if you have a heavy tv…

    • +1

Hi - you should have emailed me about this, the answer is that you have the tv mounted too low on the bracket (the brace that is fixed to the back of the TV) some TV's have heavy internal transformers near their base making them bottom heavy, remove the brackets from the back of the TV and position them UP a couple of CM on the bracket (the bracket will not be vertically centre on the tv anymore - but it will balance the weight). Also be sure to use the included tightening spanner to tighten the locking nuts. This is an easy problem to fix.
      Jason.

      • Yeah was going to ebay message you today, but now you've saved me the trouble.. Thanks will give that a go.

  • Jason

do you have bracket for 32inch TV …? and how much

    • Sorry no we're sold out of those - please DO NOT buy a 36+ inch bracket hoping it will fit because it wont (unless you fancy a bit of hack saw work to trim he bracket) basically the uprights will stick out the top of the TV - its not a good look.

      • thanks . Any i just place order for my 46inch sony TV

  • Doh need a 32 incher like some of the other guys here.

  • does this have a level?

    • No, the problem with the small levels is that they are too small to be accurate, you really want to use something larger. There is a free spirit level app for the iphone, check the applestore.

  • Will this suit a Sony 46" LED LCD?

    • It will suit any TV that complies to the VESA wall mount standard - should be ok, but please check your TV's manual to make sure (the mounting holes need to be either 20 x 20 apart or 20 x 40 cm apart)

  • Still available? I'll have a black one for pickup if it is :)

    • Yes collect this Saturday 10.30am from 4 First Street, Wingfield SA 5013

  • i will pick up 2 on saturday

  • hi i was wondering how do i organise to come in and purchase a black one? thanx =}

    • Please come to our warehouse this Saturday 10.30am and collect (cash on collection ok) - 4 First Street, Wingfield SA 5013. I think I'll have a busy morning down there this week.

      • cool thanx will see u then :)))

  • Hi there,

If the TV spec says that the "VESA Hole Spacing" is 30cm x 30cm, is this bracket suitable for the TV?

    • Hi - I don't think 30 x 30 meets the VESA standard, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VESA_mount

BUT the good news is the bracket will fit fine, 30 x 30 is within the tolerances of the bracket mouting ports.

Was at Bunnings yesterday and similar brackets there are marked as $140! This is a really good deal in my opinion.

  • HI Jason

I baught this bracket on 7th June 2010. Can you please tell me what is the status of the order is and when should I recieve it.
    thanks

    • Hi phanna - in order to help you you need to tell me your name, otherwise I've got no idea who you are based on your post. Everytime I send an item I send the buyer an email with the registered post number, have you checked your paypal supplied email address for this number. With the reg post number you can call Australia Post and check the progress of the delivery.

  • Hi Jason101, where should i enter the shipping address? do I have to create any account? or do you just ship to my paypal address? the link on your website takes me to the paypal website? and it doesnt say that its including delivery? please help..

    • Hi when you click through to make the paypal payment you will have the opportunity to alter your shipping address, postage is included in the $40 promotion until the end of June 2010. I've sold a few hundred (at least to Ozbargainers) they'd be on here flaming me down if I'd done anything unethical etc, so don't worry.

  • thanks for a quick response… i have a 50" PS50C550 Samsung Plasma,.. will this be compatible with that? and what is the delivery time for Melbourne?

  • Hi Dave, delivery time is 3-5 working days according to Australia Post via registered mail. The bracket will suit any TV between 36 and 52 inches which conforms to the VESA standard, please check your manual if unsure.

  • Thanks its 50" and I have checked my manual and it says VESA Spec AB 400400 and i had a look at the TV the actual holes are 40 cm apart from each other… sorry for asking again but just want to confirm before i place an order. its a new 2010 model so i m sure it complies to the VESA wall mount standard but i cannot see the 2020 so just confirming that 400400 is fine ..

  • Hi Jason,

I have the same PS50C550 TV and I measured the holes and they are 40 CM apart from each other, and the manual has a Table under the VESA Spec which says 400 x 400. Can you please let me and Dave know if your bracket suits our TV? i want to order it ASAP- Deepak

    • Yes the Bracket supports mounting holes which are 40x40cm apart, should be fine for both of you guys.

      Thanks

      Jason

  • Thanks Jason, I'll order it now…

  • Just Ordered One!! Hope I'll receive it soon :-)

  • hi i was just wondering if u still had any of these brackets left??

  • Yes I found a few boxes for someone else, but we are seriously at the end of this model run out. (there would be 15-20 left max)
