Well i've got to wonder if it causes a fire and the insurance company learns that you've modified a power lead and it wasn't even manufactured for use on standard 10A power sockets in the first place that it may end up voiding your house insurance and they won't pay up. Is that really worth the risk?.
Macgyver would never let that happen.

Got to note that this has a 15A plug and socket. It won't work on your home power sockets or even at an office. Normal tradies don't even use these since they don't use 15A sockets either.
This power lead is for industrial construction site use.
So what the heck are you peoples buying for it for i've got to wonder?. Maybe to flog off on eBay for a profit?.
They might be campers. Caravan parks and caravans make use of 15amp sockets.
