    is that a prime number?

Yeah, it's the direct line to the GM of Amazon's Prime division, not sure if you'd be able to call it from your Nokia 5110 though..

Nah composite number. BTW thanks for your comment. It's an honour to have JV comment on my post. Achievement unlocked.

92,386,379,839 is NOT a prime number.
      It is divisible by 13

Hard to find any real info on the camera's themselves, apart from this:

    Camera
    .Resolution 700TV Lines
    .TV Lines 700TV Lines
.Lens Angle of View 80° Angle of View
    .Image Sensor CMOS Sensor
.Minimum Illumination 0 Lux with IR on
.Day & Night Both: Day Normal Operation - Night with IR
    .Camera Format 4x Bullet & 2x Dome
  • Can anyone recommend this product? As I'm looking for security cameras and was going towards hikvision.

    • Im interested in the info as well

  • Eek! Refer to page 10, 11 & 12… they're just analogue cameras that feed into the digital recorder via a splitter cable: http://www.uniden.com.au/RESOURCES_MAIN/pdfs/GDVR_82XX_42XX_…. Not 'terrible' and would be fine for someone wanting a very basic system but sheesh they really should at least be IP Cams that each feed back into your home network.

I installed one of these for a friend.
Has 8 channels so you can get 2 more cams.
Each camera has a video feed BNC connector and a power connector. The cables are I believe 12m long, with a male end and a female end for power (make sure you lay it the right way). You can get additional extension cables fro Jaycar.
Wired only network and the unit was black (maybe an older version?)
I installed the indoor on the terrace and on the front door porch, no way for rain to get to.
Has iPhone and Android apps and has PnP for firewall.
A nice touch is the qCode image to get to the cams easily.
Make sure you change the default password.
you may want to upgrade the HD (500GB from memory?)

    Reasonable device for the price

    From JB site:
Connected Home Device Type - Security Cameras & Systems

Remote monitoring via mobile device - True Both Android and iPhone

    Included Storage (GB) - 500

Total Storage - 500GB Can add USB HD

Waterproof - True only the 4 bullet cams, not the unit!

Motion Detection - True not bad

    Channels - 8

    USB Ports - 2

HDMI Inputs - 1 this is in fact an OUTPUT

    Cameras Included - 6

Night Vision - True but BW if I remember well

    Manufacturer's Warranty - 1 Year

  • What kind of resolution are the cameras

    • Look up…

      • I did…

        • You didn't literally look up at the ceiling/sky did you? Hehehe…

vger74656 meant look at the earlier comments.

          From a quick Google search:

"D1 CCTV resolution is 704 x 480 pixels and is the highest resolution the CCTV system can record at. High end digital video recorders offer this resolution and only the highest end recorders can offer D1 resolution at 30 frames per second recording."

        • @brotherrfranciz: Thanks, the comment that mentions the resolution wasn't there when I first asked about it.
