Sounds like someone is a rep and mega salty they are trying to push these off the back of already committing to their wholesale purchase when the 1070 just go a massive price cut.

This is not a bargain. It's $10 over the MSRP, and about the first Massdrop I've ever seen which offered a savings of exactly 0%. Buy it if you're desperate to have one now, or wait a few weeks for stock to equalise and see this price (or better) on Amazon and Newegg.
