What is the difference with those $60 android box?

And 5 units is not enough to post here I think.

Probably better off buying a Nvidia shield at this price.

  • $199 AUD or USD?

Im still tossing between this and the shield. This have internal HDD bay which keep local media neat in one box. This support more audio (iirc) and support bluray iso playback.

I like the shield for it design and i think the shield community is more popular.

    • It's USD, this unit sells over $250 in US Amazon.
Also, it support dolby in audio output.

Please update the title to reflect. You are posting on an Au site and prices by default are Au$ unless specified. Amazon has amazing warranty.
Specs look amazing though unless it is another Chinese Android box where specs does not match with quality and usability.
Also if standard price is $250 on amazon, why have you specified $290 on your website.

I checked the price on amazon and mostly it is $206 delivered. So we have a saving of $7 from you. I would recommend amazon over you.

OP, your post is very close to be negged.

        • Doesn't ship to Australia.

        • @auna: Thanks, but that still does not justify great deal price OP offered. Better to have shield which can do the same and is a much better company.

Go the Shield. It gets constant updates and support. Has been on andriod 6 for months. Also plays games if you are keen. 4k Youtube support. 10bit HDMI 2.0

It is good player but not for everyone. It is overpowered for most users such as 7.1 DTS sound, good power supply (12v) that can support several external drives.

I have Q5 old version and very happy with it. Want to get Q5 PRO (not interested in internal drive) as old one does not support Android 5 but price really over killing.

Bought cheap MX III one but if so bad so it moved to bin directly. 5V 1A is not enough to power external drive, moreover it never cut power to USD and forcing to spin my drive all time !!!

So it is definitely is very good player, one of the best in marker, but as I mentioned, not for everyone.

And the price is good. Not best bargain but still disconnected.

  • I would like to see discount for Q5 Pro model :)

The tracking is useless… I've been waiting 35 days for my Q10 Pro from nikingstore and it is still in transit.

    • That is quite a long wait.

  • With current ebay 10% sale, it is as low as $223 AUD.
The shield is overall a better buy.

While the himedia suit most asian family who love karaoke, many use this as a karaoke player with 4tb hdd in the box.
