    Legend :)

    • I do what I can :) When is the next photo?

      • It's much appreciated! Not until January, unfortunately, unless I can do a sneaky week mission in the second week of the coming school hols (I'm a teacher).

      so many deals…so little money

  • Jetstar, TigerAir and AirAsia are all having sales on flights to Bali.

But only one of these airlines flies to Bali from BNE and SYD.

  • Any good deals for Bali early November? Need a cheap honeymoon.

    EDIT: From Melbourne.

  • Im thinking of going Bali during december christmas/new year break

Wwhat's the weather like over there? Good/bad time to go?

Any suggestions for good beach/resort destination for summer?

    thank's in advance!

It is a lot warmer and wetter during that time, although you can expect some kind of precipitation most months of the year.

It's also a lot busier with the Javanese traveling there for holidays as well.

May-September is my preference for travel to Bali.

Any suggestions for good beach/resort destination for summer?

The beaches are better in Queensland IMO. Fly direct to Sunshine Coast and hire a car. Low Aussie dollar means it makes more economic sense too.

    • I can't stand Bali, place has been turned into a tourist money making machine…

I would recommend Thailand instead, but avoid Phuket.

      • Yeah, thank god that Thailand is not a "tourist money making machine"…….

        • Haha thanks for the suggestions and background info guys :)

Yea damn I've been Gold Coast too many times already trying to find other resorty style places but drawing a blank

          Will keep researching

        • That's why I advised to avoid Phuket.. Better off going to smaller towns.

  • Bali is more than just beaches. Check out the volcanos and temple half way up the islands highest mountain. Get out of Kuta and explore the island or take a ferry to Lombok. Cost me about $3 for the Lombok ferry in 2009! MT Rinjani on Lombok is spectacular but currently erupting. It is the best walk I have ever done. I would imagine it is probably closed off now due to eruptions that have canceled flights out of Bali on and off this year.

  • Thinking of going to Bali just to get some suits made up. I'm guessing this would save me a lot of money (I'm in Perth), not even interested in the holiday. Anyone got any recommendations?
