How much do you normally sell this for?

    • +3

Normal price is $339 without the speaker bundle.

      • thanks

Checked Staticice.com and lowest is $339 currently of course without speakers.

  • This is a tn 1366x768 screen right?
Also what CPU is in there and can you upgrade the ram easily?

    • +2

Yes 1366x768 11.3" screen, Processor is a Rockchip Quad-Core RK3288C Processor and RAM is non-upgradeable.

    • Yes, TN 1366x768 screen ( no IPS ) should be fine for 11.6". Low power use Rockchip quad care ( think fanless ) and ram not upgradeable.

  • I can't really see why you'd want this over an HP Stream - or any of the dozens of other low power laptops.

  • Yeah this is generally regarded as one of the worst Chromebooks. If only we had more available for sale over here!! Importing from the USA is still the best way to get a Chromebook for a great price that won't drive you nuts with it's flaws.

  • I'd like to be able to dual boot Chrome OS on my laptop. Yes, there is a way to do it, but I'd like an official image straight from Google. I guess they want people to buy the hardware so they get licensing fees.

  • $275 delivered from Amazon, would be normal price. And thats not great value for a chromebook.

  • Rockchip RK3288C Quad Core Processor
    2GB Ram

    hhmmmmm

I really wish Australian companies would stop selling the low end models. Chromebooks are great once the specs are bumped up a little.

1080p IPS Display + 4gb ram should be minimum specs.

You can import this for about $330 AUD delivered.

I hate to be the guy that says it because I love the idea of Chromebooks, but something like an Asus t100 is too close to the same price for this to be worth it.
