    No, it is prepaid starter pack. If you are a prepaid customer of Optus you can port out to another carrier and then port back to Optus with this starter pack.

      You can just replace sim with the same number on optus website. No need to port. Been doing it for about 6 months

        If you need a free sim, order one from Lycamobile. They'll post it to you in a few days and you can use that for porting

        I believe Optus has disabled this feature. Tried the replacement sim feature this morning and it doesn't work. The following is what came up when click on the "activate sim". I have successfully done this last time a few month back.
        "
        Hmm, something's not right.
        Check your SIM number and try again. Or please call us on 1300 760 026
        "
