Heart rate is ob demand… Other than that… Wonderful tech! Oh the miband app has been broken over 6 months.
Jacku, miband app(from Google play store) is still running fine on my LG G pro2 in the last few months(with both Mi band 1S and Mi band 2). Have you tried to reinstall the app ?

Not sure if mine is faulty but the heart rate monitor doesn't always work, might be because I wear it a bit loose due to just being off the next notch in the band.
Also strangely even though it's linked and synced with my phone I can't select it on my s7 edge to use it to unlock the phone.
If you put the band tighter, the HR works better. My one sometimes returns failure as well.
The watch is time only. No date is a bit annoying for me. Comparing to Fitbit charge, it is lighter and the display is not so bright, so the battery life is better. A cheaper substitute.
Was looking at the Fitbit also…like the design and all…but it seems it is priced a lot higher than my budget :(
