Has anyone come across Dyson V6 handstick deals?

      Use the Ebay search engine.

      1. Why expect all of us to search what you want?

      2. Why trust us that we link you to the best deal?

      3. Why not use the time that it took to write the post to search for yourself.

  • Are the any good Blu-ray Player deals?

I stuffed a deal earlier today on the intel i5-6600k. If anyone still looking this is the best deal I could find. For $304.80 with discount and free shipping. Is SimplyBestPrices so check to make sure it does give you the 20% discount. Only 2 available so wouldn't have been able to post as a deal. Triple checked the model this time and its the i5-6600k :) The website have it as a i6 which is wrong though.

Has anyone found a good deal for a GTX 1080?

  • This is really not surprising, just disappointing. Futu jacked up the price of the 6700k from $539 to $599.

There goes my possible skylake upgrade, won't be buying anything this round.

  • They got rid of the search box on the page. Might be worth adding it back onto this deal?

    • No they didn't it's midway down the page :)

      • Does appear to be back now yes :)

        • It's nice to know I wasn't the only one.

        • @happychild100:

It just disappeared for me too, however I refreshed and it came back immediately. It was there the last 20 times or so, looks like it's just a bug on the website. You weren't imagining things :)

Hey guys, just bought a 24" Dell IPS monitor with thin bezel for $216.96 - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Dell-Monitor-S2415H-24-Monito…? it's already discounted and with this code it brings it down ridiculously low. The monitor is $329 at Scorptec and that's the cheapest I've ever found it, pretty good deal since Dell IPS panels are fantastic.

Is there a way to search for items that have gone up 20%+ moments before the sale or do I simply search all?

    • +6

Didn't get noticed enough the first two times you posted that sorta comment huh?

Do you want any more attention?

    • … or do I simply search all?

Logical people would simply search Ebay for what they want to buy, sort by PRICE.

Then compare the lowest priced one on Ebay with the lowest price elsewhere.

Then, based on that knowledge, make a purchasing decision.

Lazy people ask Ozbargain to find the deals.

  • -5

Any 20% off deals for Note 7?

    • -1

Try SEARCHING EBAY instead of being lazy.

      USE THIS SEARCH

That search link has been posted numerous times in this thread, and there is also instructions on how to search in the OP on page one.

  • Seem eBay sales search didn't give all the correct result.

  • I'm trying to checkout 2 items from two different sellers, yet when I put the code in it only removes the 20% from one of the sellers. If I do it in two transactions it removes 20% from each item. Anyone else have this issue or know of a workaround?

"Catch Of The Day" lies about discounts (again)
Prices true as of 18/08/16 ~10pm (Melbourne time)

    $39.99 Puma Men's Axis v4 S L Shoe - Black/Drizzle - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Puma-Mens-Axis-v4-SL-Shoe-Black-D… (ebay)
    $19.99 Puma Men's Axis v4 S L Shoe - Black/Drizzle - https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/product/puma-men-s-axis-v4-… (Catch Of The Day website)
$49.99 Puma MEN'S Sequence SL Shoe White Black - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Puma-Mens-Sequence-SL-Shoe-White-… (ebay)
$24.99 Puma MEN'S Sequence SL Shoe White Black - https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/men-s-activewear-5465… (Catch Of The Day website)
    $39.99 Puma MEN'S Axis V4 SL Shoe White Peacoat - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Puma-Mens-Axis-v4-SL-Shoe-White-P… (ebay)
    $19.99 Puma Men's Axis v4 SL Shoe - White/Peacoat - https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/product/puma-men-s-axis-v4-… (Catch Of The Day website)

I can go on and on and on and onnnnnnn (and on!). Please do your own comparisons to entertain yourselves.

And we put up with these false discounts? If you bought these on ebay with the discount applied you'd still end up paying substantially more than buying them direct off the liars themselves. 20% off? Lies. Catch Of The Day = Liar Of The Day

      • +2

No, they don't. On all of your examples the standard price is the same (eg: $39.99 for the Axis).

talk about missing the point: the price is far cheaper on their website for the same items. I don't care about their BS "regular price" that's crossed out, which they only use for moments to say that their prices are half price. The fact is not buying the same items from ebay is FAR cheaper. And the fact is they misrepresent savings.

Q: Can you get it cheaper elsewhere?
No - then buy from Ebay
        Yes - then buy elsewhere

Oh gee, thanks genius. I am pointing out the fact that you can get it cheaper on the liar's website and that 20% off is clearly a lie (just like their regular prices are rubbish). The same probably applies to most stores, but I am not tracking anyone else. This is just the tip of the iceberg, I am sure.

        Ebay $39.99 less 20% = $32.00 including delivery.

Maybe you wanna check that again, genius. You are charged $9.95 for delivery. Plus they like to say you 'qualify' for $9.95 delivery if you buy 2 or more on ebay. How nice. In effect, delivery charges are identical to their website. Only a llama can shit on a post about obvious savings lies, so congratulations to you for another useless post.

        • -6

talk about missing the point: the price is far cheaper on their website for the same items.

Then buy from their bloody website. For gawd's sake… don't bore us with where the price is higher.

Ebay is almost ALWAYS more expensive than buying direct. You ralise that's because they take a "commission" for the sale?

nd that 20% off is clearly a lie

Who cares? Buy on PRICE, not discount percentage. Solved!

Maybe you wanna check that again, genius. You are charged $9.95 for delivery.

Oops, my mistake. I thought I saw Free Delivdry, but obviously I didn't.

Anyway, if it's more expensive on eBay.,,, don't buy from there.

The way that you carry on it's as if you feel that Ebay must always be the cheapest sales channel. Reality check = it's not.

You need to research better, use the internet to compare prices before buying. There's plenty of shopping comparison sites, for example StaticIce for Tech stuff, even Google Shopping tab can give you some good reference prices.

I'd silly to believe that just becaause there is a sale tag saying "20% off" that you will bet the best possible bargain.

This is like resturants - some charge more than others for the same meal. It's pointless running around screaming threats of ACCC and posting on forums because a pizza costs more at your local family store than it does at Dominos. Different prices is the way of the world… it's been the same since cave man days.

The BEST thing you can do when you see pricing anomolies is to not buy. Or, buy elsewhere. It's immature to get worked up about this subject, when there are far more important things to worry about. Sales are often not what they seem, and mature purchasers learn this at about 15 years old… to not buy based of discount percentage, but compare nett prices. It's not hard, truly.

So, please post GOOD deals here - that's what we come here for. Stop wasting everyone's time filling Ozbargain website with prices that are NOT good deals. Just becauee it's eBay doesn't mean that people should post "non-deals" - that is lame, and of no use to anybody.

        • @llama:

You have some mental deficiency, I am sure of it now.

For everyone else, as I write this, the Catch Of the Day website has increased the prices on their website on all my examples listed above.

Remember if you don't know what to buy, you can always look at what others have bought by clicking on the sold checked-box on the left-hand column to get an idea.

i7 6700K for $412 delivered from PCCaseGear with the code! $479 on their website . Tempted to start hoarding parts now for my end of year build.. Is this a decent price?

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Intel-Core-i7-6700K-/33170438…

    • I can't get the CHOICE20 code to work with PCCaseGear - appears they are not a store in this promotion. What code are you using to bring it to $412?

    • PCG is not part of the promo.

      • Agree - but xis123 is suggesting he is getting a 20% discount on prices of PCCG.

Caved in and bought a Daskeyboard 4.

Eyed it for a year and the price didn't change.

  • The PC Byte price for the keyboard I bought is $26 more expensive than on their website.

Are the fees that horrible that they have to do this? Bloody frustrating when you realise that you're still spending more.

    • -1

The PC Byte price for the keyboard I bought is $26 more expensive than on their website

You mean the LIST price. What is the price difference AFTER the 20% Ebay discount is applied?

Are the fees that horrible that they have to do this?

The Ebay fees for a large seller like that (Anchor Store) would be 7.5% in the Tech category, or 6% otherwise.

      http://sellercentre.ebay.com.au/ebay-for-business/about-stor…

They would pay a couple of percent for Paypal as well, however that would also apply to the sales made through their website.

Irrespective, it's common that prices vary depending on Sales outlet. For example, Coles supermarkets have different prices in different states, different regions, and different suburbs.

  • How do you search certain items in this deal i tried one of the search options and code dont work should if it comes up with item code should work?
