I know the iPhone5 is outdated but I know people who still uses their iPhone4/4s. It will be a cheap upgrade for them.

These are a factory refurbished product. A refurbished product is one which usually has been returned to the supplier and is then fixed by a technician and thoroughly tested. As a result, refurbished product will usually have a lower rate of return than new products since they are all individually checked and tested while new products are not always. So all-in-all, these perform like a brand new product (although you may find some minor cosmetic imperfections), and you get them at a fraction of the price!

The Chrome book was released in June 2011, making this device roughly 5 years.

For it to sell at $200 when it's new RRP price was $429, I'd say it's holding it's value remarkably well… might be the Samsung branding at work.

… assuming people are buying them at that price! :)

    • Quite sure this model is losing support soon…

  • 1 day… is that their devices EOL?

Personally wouldn't go refurbished unless it was direct from Apple. Tends to be fixed using non-OEM gear, and unknown device history.

Just got the Pre-owned iPhone 5 16gb for my mom today from EB Games (12 months warranty) for around $270 and saw this deal. I think it worths paying $30 more to get that peace of mind knowing that you can always go to their store for any issue. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this store's warranty…

Personally, if I was interested in a cheap refurbished computer, I would hope someone might suggest getting the Dell Inspiron 11 3000 for $239 ($299 and applying 20% off ebay deal) because a 2016 model is a lot better than a 2011 model.
