      Sacs2k1, great post. We have a suggested edit that may be of interest to you/Ozbargainers…For anyone going through a broker the number of areas considered acceptable is expanded to include metro QLD, VIC, NSW, SA and WA (up from the standard Sydney, Melbourne & Adelaide).

    Is the $1,500 cash back offer only per customer or per loan? I mean if i have 3 properties, will i get $4,500 for refinancing the 3 loans?

    the rate is too good to be true, however no support or respond at all from these guys. My broker has been trying to contact the BDM (as I live in Perth) and left messages but no respond and when calling the broker assist line, it rang out and diverts to the same BDM number, i'm not feeling good about this at all.

    Spoke to a broker, Bank of Sydney do only 70% loans for units which have 4 or more levels and also have units less then 28.

    Don't trust the broker mls1989, he will mislead you! He lied to me to get me to make an application with him.

      Did not lie to you. Each of your emails were rude and because of this i decided not to do business with you. All the other ozbargainers that got on board have been pleasent.

        I have no clue what he is talking about, I was only rude, if you want to call it that in here! I only gave him what he wanted and completed an application as he asked of me, after he told me I would qualify, then out of the blue he says I do not qualify. No explination what so ever. So I called him a lier.

        Matter of fact in here he claims to ba an associate of the ba nk of Sydney, but that is not what he sent me to prove he was a broker.

          I never claimed to work for BOS. I am a broker with access to BOS. Your attitude was my reason for not proceeding with your application. I had a lender lined up based on your UNIQUE circumstances.

          My attitude is a result of being lied to, nothing more, and everyone in here needs to know who they are dealing with. You did lie to me!!! And I did not have any attitude except initially a lack of trust before I gave you all my personal details (and I did give you personal info) and allowed you to process a possible loan for me. I then trusted you to take care of my needs and you failed miserably.

          I have since been told I do qualify but I had a bad broker handling my information!

      I used him and he has been outstanding! I couldn't recommend him more!!

      Absolutely brilliant service and I don't say this lightly.

      He replied to emails in no time at all and managed to get a loan from application to settlement within a week 72 hour approval.

      Love to see any other broker do that - best yet he is generous with his cash backs and tail returns!

        Wonder why he had such hate towards me? I am sure I was only cautios about giving him my personal info, but in the end I did and so strange that he said I was denied? Since then I have had a broker and a bank say I qualify and should have no problem getting financed. Truly I was unaware of being rude and in the end it was his loss financially. Wonder why the hate? Maybe your a sock or friend defending him. I do not trust him but if you feel good about your deal, so be it.
