Make sure you use the headphones that came with the phone……just for that extra bit of fidelity. ;-)

I use the built in speakers.

Which headphones come with your device ?

      • I'm waiting for Tidal to start streaming MQA. Then I'll unwrap my earpods and see if they really shine;-)

Finnicky interface, tagging problems and a lack of ALAC support might be a bit of a turnoff for iOS users here. Good sounding unit though, no doubt, and plenty of power.

    • Yeah. The interface is some 90s bullshit. Makes my fiio x5 look like Minority Report.

Discrepancy between reasonable price and RRP, really discredits the HiFi market. It does no one any favour - customers nor retailers, when RRP is BS.

    • Axel Foley, We don't set the RRP. It is set by the brand and/or the importer.

      • Jason, I didn't imply that you had anything to do with RRP. I only addressed the huge discrepancy.

It's a DAC/headphone amplifier. Why say Hi-Res Music Player in the title?

    • It is all 3 of those things. Dac/amp/Media player

  • Interested but would need to see the menu (intent would be to use it as a standalone player) due to above comments. Guess I'll have to pass.

  • The new Audioquest Dragonfly Red seems to be a better choice and cheaper.
