I dont think so. If its on sale, I will get the 5w-30 as I use the 5-30W all these while. I think its fine for me to go with the 5-40W
Check your owner's manual. If you are running a turbo car you would use 5-30. But non turbos you can get away with 5-40 just fine. But always check your manual.
Some cars even specify 0W-20, and even 5W-30 is a compromise

Checking on their website SCA have removed items from my initial order. $149.96 value down to $30. They haven't refunded me, made contact or dispatched any items.
Ah. No email response to messages on Sunday night and Tuesday morning isn't too far from the norm then I guess. Fingers crossed they make fathers' day now.
