Was looking for a 10inch+ windows tablet with stylus capability. This one rated alright. Note:
- is NOT i7 (core M)
- does NOT include stylus
- does NOT include keyboard

Note, I got the price through banggoods AUD, might be cheaper if you use your own credit card conversion. Also, didn't try to stack coupons or points.

Would be keen to hear from anyone who has bought, especially re drawing experience.

Cheapest on ozbargain was a bit over a month ago? US$299 Posted (~AU$392.85) @ AliExpress

      But has i7 in title

    WTF??

I bought my son a "cube" Talk9X a couple of years ago and there was one minor update then that was it . I expected little to no updates but the woeful battery life was the big disappointment along with the glacially slow charging .

  • Decent specs

OP your description contradicts the rather enticing title. Would you please make corrections?

OP your description contradicts the rather enticing title. Would you please make corrections?

I7/i7 is the model number of the tablet so it's only confusing if you can't read.

      • It was just a civil request. I clicked on the title supposing that was the CPU.

    • i7 is cube's own top of the line range/series/model so by correcting it, it would lead to other misinformation.

      • Yes, I suppose it is mere coincidence that Cube call it that. Which is rather similar to Ford calling their latest car a Falcon V12 8-litre. After all, it is only a model name, nobody's going to think it implies what is under the bonnet. But I accept OP was being helpful by posting.

The i7 Stylus is the old model, the i7 Book is the new model.

They don't make a product called the i7 as far as I know.

Pjc why would he have to make corrections if you read the description it states core m not i7

    Wow that is so misleading

      Wow that is so misleading

Not really if you read the description.

        Yes I can read

          Yes I can read

          So what is the problem?

    • +4

Yes it is a misleading name - not that this is anything new in the IT world.

  • been waiting for this one for a while. OP did you use papypal/cc(which one if so) to get that conversion rate or did you just go off their website?

For everyone crying foul, the OP simply posted the deal. The deal is for the model called Cube i7 with a core m series CPU.

been waiting for this one for a while.

It's an older model, the new model is called i7 Book.

  • +2

Buyers should note that this is the old i7 model with older Core m3-5y10.

The current Core M3-6y30 i7 Book was only $391 a few days ago on Banggood (with Tech Tablets coupon b28900) although ATM that can't be used because it has a "promo" tag for the "regular" price of $416. The differences between the two CPU's are not insignificant, particuarly 3D performance.

No idea if coupon will work again but they'd probably do an OzBargain special or something if it doesn't.

    • Good information. Thanks.

Happy camper here, bought one from the previous deal and so far so good.

10 Anniversary update installed and snappy. Currently being used in tablet mode, w/mostly kids games, own docs & most popular apps. Total space left ~25GB.

The only acceptable "downside" is the battery life, normally between 3h-4h (depending on usage+brightness), but I guess this is the price to pay for a very light weight, passive device.

    Recommended!

Edit: Please do note my comment is re new/latest skylake model - this deal is about old/previous model.

  • I've been looking forward to seeing the Cube i9 Stylus. It has a 12.2-inch screen. Should be released any day now.

    • same here, that or Teclast's X2 Pro as a backup plan. Though because they're getting upwards of $600+ for newer gear (X3 pro), I'd rather an old Surface Pro 3.
