Good grief - congrats on the bargain vege, but if it was a choice between this and my 2012 Nexus 10 [that set me back $250 new] and a tether phone, the Nexus would [and does] wipe the floor with it :-/

I got a Samsung 10" a few years back… I think it was 2gb 16gb but with a 1,280 x 800 screen.
That is sort of acceptable especially for HD pad for kids and older folk who arnt tech people like most of us here.
But 1,024 x 768? hahha no
I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0" model which has the same specs but the 9.7" has more battery life.
Great tablet, I bought this as a gift to my two little sisters.
They love it. They play Minecraft, GBA Emulators and NDS emulators without any hassles.
Use it to do their homework and are on youtube.
Does everthing they need.
The 8.0" has better DPI because of the smaller screen.I want one for myself. :|
I have this and it's good with the browsing speed but let down by the screen.
I give it 7/10. Watching videos are fine.Had a look at this yesterday but found the screen and specs too crappy for the price.
probably one should wait for the ebay deal to get active and do a C&C for $254.

I bought the Lenovo tab 2 A10-70 for ard $268 a few mths ago.
Full HD screen etc. Sadly they discontinued them. They are really good!
