Harris Farm Markets $40 off Your First Order. Minimum Order $100. Sydney Only

460
FRESH40

Great deal I reckon. Ends 31st August. I bought $ 100 stuff online yesterday, it was delivered within hours. The items they did not have in stock, they gave credit for (out of my minimum $ 100 spend)

Even though their prices are usually higher than Colesworth, with a 40% discount, quite attractive. Quite a comprehensive range of foods available. Took me 20 minutes to decide how to make up my $ 100.

Good shopping!

  • Sorry, forgot to mention - First time customers, only! One customer per household. ONLINE only. Ensure you are logged in at the time of purchase. Code (FRESH40) worked for me at check-out.

Worth adding "Sydney Only" to the subject

  • Ordered twice with them had issues with freshness and items not being swapped with equivalent items if they were out of stock, as well as items missing both times.
Kept offering credit rather than refunds even though I didn't receive the items and I wasn't interested in ordering online.

    Never again.

I've only bought in-store with those AMEX promos a few times before. Packaged fresh food goes mouldy after a few days (being stored inside fridge straight away and way before expiry dates). The stuff i've had to throw away was equivalent to "cash back" from amex. Never again!

I think the quality of Harris Farm is extremely location-dependent. For example in the Sydney area, the Edgecliff shop's freshness seems superior to the Bondi K-Mart shopping centre's one. It's very difficult to find a good green-grocer at a price-point anywhere near reasonable these days.

You're better off spent the $60 at WW or Coles's half price items. Everything at HF are overpriced.

Damn, I have already had an online order. It looks like I will have to sign up the dog.

  • Last week Coles green beans were $3.90 per kg while at Harris Farm they were $24.90 per kg! Seriously…used to always shop at HF but after monitoring and comparing their prices they are really gouging on many items….

    • Last week 16-21 August, green beans were actually on weekly special for $2.49 per kg.

In the previous weeks they were exorbitant at $20-$25 per kg, but prices were similar in other fruit shops (I assume there were supply problems during that period).

      • Doesn't explain why Coles were almost 10 times cheaper?

I find prices for some items are better at HF than Coles, Woolies (eg limes, passionfruit, strawberries). And quality is higher overall on fruit & veg also. Much prefer the freshness & flavour of produce at HF to the bland stock at the supermarkets.

    Thanks OP!

50c Happy Cow cheese, which would be 30c if you ordered $100…

This deal is amazing. Combined with the San Pell deal another person posted I just got a few basics and a ton of delicious italian sparkling water.

    Legend. Thanks OP.

Online prices are heinous though. I went to Harris yesterday and got a few basics that were on special and laughed my way through the checkout, but the online is way less kind. Ginger was $5/kg (!) instore and the OzB in me wanted to buy three kilos even though I didn't need any :-P

  • I got "Customer information does not meet the requirements for the FRESH40 discount code" WTF???

      It's one customer per household.

I found that the things that are weighed or not available are a good deal. Because if you order 300-400g of something, they may refund you if they only have a 300g package and the refund is based on the original price. Same with refunds of not available items.

Thanks OP! Some nice meat specials made even better with 40% off :) The freezer will be stocked!

Got my order, thanks OP. Only 1 item not in stock and they refunded thru paypal at the full price.

  • Yep, I waited to hear the door tonight from 7-10 and no sign of delivery. I called them to check the order and they confirmed it with driver. I checked on live chat, they confirmed with driver. I checked again with live chat, confirmed with driver.

9.45 - driver confirms that order was not placed on truck.

First and last time I am ordering with these amateurs.

  • put in two orders (two different households) and service was great!
both orders complete, and both times had notification sms and link to delivery status page where i could track the delivery truck's location and estimated number of stops/time before arrival. Cheers !
