you have to book in for an "eye needs consultation", is that free or do you have to pay for it? if so its a free mascara with an "eye needs consultation"….
and since you're not seeing a doctor/dentist, as the word consultation may suggest, 'consultation'=sales pitch!
these ones with the booking fee, aren't exactly free because, you pay the booking fee for the "consultation" you get the free mascara but the $45 booking fee is only redeemable upon purchase of their products, so essentially, you still have to buy stuff.

It's not freebie, it's a cost and a hassle for a 2ml mascara. first, you have to book an appt, then you have to pay $45 or spend $45 worth of lancome products (to get the consultation for free). After that you get a free mascara.
is it really free cause it says that a $45 booking fee may apply?
