Apple iPhone SE 64GB 4G Silver Unlocked $456 after Coupon Plus Delivery Cost @ Android Enjoyed

215
BEFOREYOUGO

Apple iPhone SE 64GB 4G Silver Unlocked $456 plus delivery cost after $10 off Coupon code "BEFOREYOUGO" ($466 before coupon)

Grey Import.

I asked through the Android Android Live Chat if it was brand new and they said yes.
I realise some people have said Android Enjoyed is not a very good company so I will let each person decide on their own. I listed this as it is extremely cheap for a 64gb SE at this price. The iphone SE has a 12mp main camera and the same A9 chip as the 6s.

Their other colored models are $631 for Gold 64Gb, $638 Space Grey 64Gb and $642 for Rose Gold.
I'm not sure if this is a pricing error. If so I hope they honor the price still.Update:(User A3Australia says they contacted them and confirmed the price is correct because it is a special sale)

iPhones won't be shipped for 1 - 2 weeks.

How much can you get it for ?

@fruit Please show me the best price anywhere else.

Is it all brand new sealed ?

        • I asked them via live chat is this Brand New? and they replied… "Yes it is 100% genuine, brand new and original" You can ask via live chat to double check if its sealed.

        • @ONSALE:

Hmmm… As you were chatting with them anyway - why did you not ask about the price being an error?

It could have (may have?) saved some OzBargainers from disappointment and a long wait for a refund.

        • @A3Australia: I assumed if it were an error they would see when they looked at the item as I sent the link to the item as part of the question.

        • @ONSALE:

You know what is said about "assuming" things.

        • @A3Australia: Well you can always go and ask youself and you can get the live chat emailed to you. Whether it was Brand New or not was the most important thing to me at the time I was on live chat not whether it was a price error.

I just called their support/contact number. Rep said same stuff about being brand new and original Apple iPhone as said to you. Also confirmed price and said it was a special sale.

          EDIT:
However, I am not sure if I want to take the chance with this business:-

"I agree that there's nothing odd about first timers posting against Android Enjoyed, because when you are in the situation that I currently am in… where I have been battling them for the repair of my expensive Samsung S6 for 9 months, and they have now had my handset in their Hong Kong office since February this year, and NSW Fair Trading dropped my case because they were unable to even contact Android Enjoyed… you are left so frustrated and desperate to try and get some form of justice that you turn to Forums to at least try to warn others! So others… I am just one of thousands who knows that Android Enjoyed cannot be trusted and will NOT honour their Warranties… and nobody can stop them!!"

        • @A3Australia: Thank You I will update description.

        • @A3Australia: The review you posted from whirlpool says "and NSW Fair Trading dropped my case because they were unable to even contact Android Enjoyed"
Yet we know they answer their phones because you said "I just called their support/contact number. Rep said same stuff about being brand new and original Apple iPhone as said to you"

Not having a go at you A3Australia because obviously there are genuine people who have problems with Android Enjoyed but it is funny that quote from Whirlpool makes it seem like its hard to contact hem when obviously it was easy to call them as proven by you.

I quite understand that you are not 'having a go' at me. The customer I quoted was obviously not expressing the matter clearly.

From all the other reports about Fair Trading authorities dropping cases against Android Enjoyed that I read (and there were many - especially on http://www.productreview.com.au/p/android-enjoyed.html ), it is very clear that Android Enjoyed DO NOT REPLY to contacts made by Fair Trading. NOT that they can not be contacted in the first place.

18 complaints to them just in July. and most are about them selling mobiles phones.
    I suggest stay clear.

    • -7

Yes but look Harvey Norman Apple and The Good Guys are in there as well and Harvey norman is the second worst in list?

      • +21

Yes but then you have to consider how many customers TGG and HN gets compared to Android Enjoyed.

    • Lol, even Apple are fairly high up the list? Apple have outstanding service (not being sarcastic), how do they generate so many complaints? Through sheer volume of sales?

      • +2

Complaints are inevitable for any company, especially a bigger one.

        More customers = more complaints.

But Android Enjoyed is just a small time fish but look at them in the charts…

        • +1

Oh, I get that. But how can you quantify that list without knowing sales numbers? I'm not defending Android Enjoyed at all, but these lists aren't black and white.

        • +5

          @aja12:

Just assumptions. Every business on that list is a big time company with advertisements, brand recognition, etc.

I don't think many people buy from or know about Android Enjoyed. Again just an assumption.

Their alexa ranking is also much lower than DWI or eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au yet I don't see DWI nor eglobal on the list of complaints.

      • +12

apple's customer service is not what it used to be. Yes, the forced cheery smiles and bubbly greetings are still there but they've become less flexible and more about how much they can squeeze out of you.

        • my lightning cable's plastic housing became detached after a few months of moderate use. The store manager took one quick look and decided it was "wear and tear; no exceptions. "However would you like to buy a new one for $29?"
        • the iphone 5 had a button defect a while ago and i took mine in within the first few days of apple announcing the replacement program. The genius tried to convince me the button was less sensitive because, and i paraphrase "sometimes people press it by accident so apple decided you've got to hold it down firmly to turn off the screen". I in turn tried telling him i'm not 10 and can i please have it repaired. "Unfortunately we'll have to charge you $400 (iirc) for a replacement handset as this is out of warranty. Also, you may like to consider applecare for your next iphone.".
        • my really old macbook charger broke and i asked if i could get a replacement at a reduced cost since they've recently stopped production of this charger type (i was going to buy a new macbook in a few months anyway). They had it in stock but nope, no luck getting it reduced. I understand they're not running a charity but i think this is something apple of old would have done.

that being said, some people will complain about anything.

        • +1

I agree, sons power supply for his air failed - not in warranty still but failed becuase the plastic kind of peeled away from the magnetic connector.
Two staff members served us, both didnt even look at it, just said we need to buy a new one.
It also took my son to point out they were selling me the wrong one, they didn't even know that.

        • +1

@PVA: mine was for a macbook air as well! Except my wire became exposed and frayed until there was no connection left.

the newer airs look virtually identical to the 2010 model but use a different charger; that's probably why they tried selling you the wrong charger (although that's no excuse).

        • +2

          @blablabla23:

Our had the plastic peel away then the wires exposed and broke, sounds the same as what happened to yours.

We had the old charger with us, so they could tell what model, they just dint want to look.
Ours was the one with the cable comes straight out, not the one on the side.

I can understand not replacing it but the service was as good as a $2 store, pretty poor, and nothing like people keep raving about .

        • +1

@PVA: I think they make bad cables. I've had this problem since the iPod days. You have to pull the cable from the connector not the cord or it will eventually break.

This should be enough to ban the store from ozbargain

Thanks OP, very cheap price. I ordered without realizing I didn't put in the free shipping code! (put the -$5 off code instead) =.="

    • Don't worry you only lost $5. It was only a $10 coupon anyway it is plus delivery not including delivery with that code. I have updated description from "plus delivery" to "plus delivery costs" to avoid any confusion.

      • Ah, initially I thought it meant $456 including delivery. Hoping they can ignore my email now xD

    Android Enjoy. Buyers beware.

Bought a phone off them earlier this year (never heard of them before then, just went with them only because of price…).

Came about 2 weeks later. Opened the box and the phone looked obviously used. Upon powering on the phone, language was in Spanish, had no setup screen and phone looked like it's been used before. Settings were changed etc.

The phone wasn't for myself. It was for my father so I just factory reseted it, gave it to him and moved on.

But next time, won't be buying from them again. Slow replies, slow processing and questionable stock.

Not worth the $20 or whatever I saved.

Also they don't accept PayPal. So be careful.

  • +2

Their website says they have 250,000 customers, so it isn't like they are generating complaints from every order - that said, they do look a bit lacking in service.
The price is outstanding, however, and one of my kids is in the market, so ordered.
We'll find out if I end up in customer service hell!
I paid the credit card surcharge so I can dispute it if things go badly wrong.

    • +1

Please post an update when you receive the phone. I'd be intereted to hear your impression.

  • +2

i was about to impulse buy, but had a feeling this price was too good to be true. judging by the reviews and comments above, sounds about right. i do have the option to file chargeback through my credit card/bank but ain't nobody got time for that if i can avoid it.

"Our next shipment of this item has unfortunately been delayed, but based on current ETA’s we are expecting more stock within the next 1 – 2 weeks, once stock is available we will ship this item immediately. Once it has shipped you will be notified by email. After your item has shipped please allow another 2 – 5 business days for delivery to metro areas or 4 – 7 business days for regional and remote areas."

My father used to tell customers who saw a better price elsewhere, that had no stock - "If I didn't have stock, I could sell it to you for even less than $xxx".

  • +1

This company should be banned from OzBargain?

    • @bongom Well I suppose it depends how many Ozbargainers have actually had problems with them I know product review has a 2.8 out of 5 score for Android Enjoyed. There is a general warning that you may receive unfavourable responses when posting about Android Enjoyed on Ozbargain. Would be good to hear from Ozbargainers who have had actual experiences with them themselves rather than just reposted quotes from product review or whirlpool. Obviously there are problems people have had but it would be interesting to know how common they are among real ozbargain purchasers.

Dumb question maybe.. arent iphones covered by Apple warranty, for the 1st year at least?

Also, i heard someone mention chargeback on their credit card if something goes wrong, how does that work?

    thanks

    • +1

If you don't receive a product, you get your money back. Any good banks will give your money back first, then give the merchant time to provide evidence of delivery. Crappy banks will make you wait ~3 weeks to get it back.

You can also use it in certain other circumstances (but you'd legally have to return the product).

I've used it once when I pre-ordered a g-sync gaming monitor, which was never delivered (or never re-stocked). The merchant did not respond to my enquiries for a refund.

  • +4

Last time i ordered a flash from camerasky it came in android enjoyed box, so i guess they are a group of companies

  • It's a great price. Their company reviews are not really great but I took the gamble and ordered. I couldn't find any reviews where people did not get any delivery - mainly with really bad after sales support and warranty. I upgraded to transit cover and priority shipping + paid the credit card surcharge … came to $503.14.

    • +1

Priority shipping seemed like a waste of $10 when you're potentially already waiting a couple weeks for stock :) One of the other postage options had transit cover.

      • +1

I agree … I could have saved $10 … I speculated that they will get stock in batches (maybe even after the release of the new iphone 7) and I wanted to be one of the first ones getting one (they will get lots of orders so maybe not all stock will be fullfilled with the first delivery they get). I might be wrong … but at that price I thought I add the $10 … When I need to do a charge back or refund because of no delivery it will not matter.

        • Update: My order status changed to "processing".
