  • anyone can confirm its 3g+4g?

yup no band 28 … was hoping for a phone like this with band 28… damn it….

  • +1

    No band 28 but
    FHD AMOLED screen
    S820 SoC
    And… Cheap!!!

Main thing I have against it is the small size and I assume poor battery life?
But size is a personal preference. I'd rather something much closer to 6"

Btw. Same price in Aliexpress and BangGood

The Pro has the AMOLED, this is just an IPS i believe.
Also it has a 3500mah battery so while you can't tell exactly what battery life it will have just from that, with those specs something would have to be really wrong for it to not at least be in the same ballpark as a 3000mah phone like the one 10 or galaxy S7
According to this site it's actually alittle better than those phones at web browsing time.

      • Thanks for the notice.. I didn't realize that the non-pro was just IPS

My family member is using Xiaomi note 3 pro without B28 and is working fine with no network problem.

    • the thing is that they aren't getting all the network that there is ….. and they probably drop back to 3G where other people with band 28 will get 4G .

the telcos paid between them over 1 billion dollars to license the 700mhz spectrum for phones and it's where all their new roll out and technology is being put.

the government moved tvs to different frequencies and made then digital so that there was more bandwidth for phones hence band 28 , in many other countries their TV is still in that spectrum range. Europe has also now reserved band 28 for phone use so demand wil also be coming from Europe as they re- farm the spectrum and make it available for phones.

      • You are doing yourself a massive disservice if you buy a new phone now without B28 700mhz if your network supports it, especially Telstra.

    That is quite interesting…

Very good specs for the price.

I am sworn off Lenovo products however.

  • any chance of zuk 2 pro?

  • Lenovo mobile was terrible quality and no warranty within Australia, I bought one last year from aliexpress.com after 3 mths the touch screen doesnt work any more;
the seller feedback warranty only return to china. and return fee must buyer pay.

Price cheap, but quality was dead

    • Of course there's no warranty in Australia. They don't release their phones here.

Mine didn't have issues, but I bought a flagship phone and they never released a single Android update for it despite promising that there would be. It stayed at 4.2 the entire life, and that was just short of being able to use an Android wear smartwatch (requires 4.3). They never even commented on why there wasn't an update. Didn't even post to tell us they weren't going to do it anymore and to stop waiting for it. They just kept silent, and we kept waiting, not knowing if we should just give up (and buy something else) or wait a bit and it will come eventually.

If that's how poorly they treat their flagship devices, I'm not going to bother buying another phone from them.

  • Given 2G network will be switched off come December, does this phone support dual active 4G or at least dual active 3G/4G?

    • it supports 4g+3g

  • Please run malwarebytes and make sure liulangbao malware is NOT found.

Bought a $120 Android Tablet from EverBuying. 3 weeks later. Tracking shows "delivered". Well I didn't sign for one and certainly have not got it. We were home all day during the day they reckon it was delivered.

Raised dispute with EverBuying, they offered to refund half $60.

Raised dispute with PayPal - record shows "delivered"- you loose. Not covered. No prove of delivery - too bad - you loose, goodbye.

Contacted EverBuying again, to their credit, they refunded $60. I lost $60.

It seems to me this Shipping Agent used by EverBuying is gaming the system and you loose everytime. Tell me you can't just make the record to show delivered instead of paying out a claim.

Fellow OzBargainers BE WARNED. And if you think PayPal will look after you'll be wrong too.
