Bought a 10-pack of the Castaway Cider cans about 3 years ago, it was horrific. Tasted like they's got hold of the old 4L fruity lexia and lightly carbonated it. It went straight down the sink, and I took it as a lesson well learnt; presume they've gotten better since then.

Somehow beer that has been sitting around does not taste the same.
If best before is Aug 16 it probably is 2 years old…This is the shit you drink after you are already drunk then it taste great in or out.
You can return it if its flat. Still I mean 2yr old beer. Cant be good. Still better than VB I guess.
The good thing about VB is that it still tastes exactly the same when it has gone off.
