I think you need to fix this sentence (and the title). When I first read it I thought how can it be free and cost $61.72. Try this, reorder to put the price first:
for $55.33 + $6.39 shipping = $61.72, and get a free machine.
The fact that these are almost permanently 'half price' or free when you buy x number of pods tells you all you need to know about the quality of the machine…
It's not so bad at all. It's a given it won't operate like a 300$ machine though - it's just a basic one. If you like Vitoria pods, who wouldn't want a free machine.
With that said though, I ended up cycling between this and a Caffitaly machine because I like to switch my coffee from time to time when I get bored.
how do the pods compare to a proper 15Bar coffee machine with traditional group head?

Bit of a pity you have to buy mixed - if it was just mountain grown it would be more tempting
