My Smart Sony TV will mirror any android device so I assume the answer is yes.

Any comments on how this compares with the Nexus 7? Kids have the 1st gen N7 (required for school) but no rear camera. Was thinking of finding a 2nd hand N7 2013 model. So interested in how this compares to an N7 2013 in terms of speed.

Might as well get this as this is brand new. I have a 2nd gen nexus 7 and found up it won't be getting the latest update "nougat". So pretty much the same boat as the x3.
They both have similar specs and the only plus with this tablet is this has expandable memory which is a bonus for kids and thier games.
Edit also have 1st gen and the difference between speed and everything is huge.

Anyone had their order ship yet? Mine hasn't.
Mine "arrived" on Tuesday, but was un-delivered due to insufficient address data ( I was tracking the package ).
Called DHL yesterday and they will re-send it tomorrow. Let's see.
Sony put the wrong delivery address on mine (wrong suburb). Spoke to DHL so hopefully the correct address has been added and it will make it out for delivery today.
Was just delivered. Comes with Android 4.4.4.
Sony have still not shipped my order, and their customer service is terrible. They are saying it will take 1-2 business days to investigate why my order has not shipped, even though it was placed on Friday last week. They have my money but do not want to ship my goods.

I tried to cancel my order, was told it had been cancelled and my money had been refunded. A few days later I see it has not been cancelled and my money has not been refunded.
Sony online is the most useless shop ever, I would not recommend anyone buying anything through the website, they do not know what customer service means.
Mine arrived today, would have had it last Wednesday but nobody was here to sign for it. Perfect condition, no damaged box etc.

well mine arrived …. via delivery was DHL so has to be signed for, they won't take a card and leave at the door.
Came with Android 5 and after about 1 hour it was upgraded to android 6 over the air …… beautiful design and ultra thin. Great value at this price.

Was gonna buy one of these but then saw a Pixel C at Cash Converters for $300! Very happy with holding off, but I'm sure the Z3 tablet is also quite nice (used to have the Z1).

Went for this deal and the half-price headphones. I have the Nexus 2013 but it's been dropped a couple of times and the charging port is dodgy so my son can have that :)

I picked one up from the Sony store in Chatswood this morning. Spent an hour updating the software and loading the apps, and now working real nice. Very light and slim, and comfortable to hold and use. The price was $299 in store, but I asked for it to be $300 so I can claim back GST through TRS.
