  • better than the redmi notes?

just as a query, is this its normal price?

    • redmi note 3 pro has better specs than this.

  • Kogan phone doesn't support band 28?

  • I got the Agora 6 when they had 15% off ebay. good little phone, I use it in my partner's vw golf for android auto, cheaper than buying a GPS.

One weird omission is 6 and 6 Plus are only 2.4GHz. Not sure if it matters to you, but I was just a bit surprised when I tried to connect to my network and couldn't.

For me it was better than the redmi as they're apparently not android auto compatible.

  • What's the phone? A rebranded what?

    • A rebranded Kogan phone.

    • BENQ

      • Any idea what model? Coz I don't think that this ties in with anything that I've seen from BenQ. I know that the older model was a rebadged BenQ.

Spec wise it ties pretty well into the Elephone M3, but that has it's camera offset to the top left corner..

Of course it's possible they just went to an OEM and chose internals and externals and went with that.

        • It's a rebranded meizu m3 note

        • @BargainQuail:

Meizu doesn't have finger print sensor tho.. The camera also appears to be higher on the Kogan than the meizu

        • @digi79: Meizu does have one its on the home button.

        • @BargainQuail:
Yeah, but that's a completely different spot which would make is a redesign not a rebranding.

I agree, it is similar but not a straight rebadge..

Just as likely to be a rejig of the elephone m3.. Matches the sony imx230 and the 8mp front sensor.. The also have the p9000 which looks like the agora.

        • @digi79: the elephone m3 body looks completly different. If you look at the bodies of the m3 note and agora they are very similar. Kogan also sells the m3 note.

  • +4

Does it have a headphone jack?

    • -2

      read the specifications..

      • +1

I was joking…every phone in the whole entire world has a headphone jack!

    • +1

      Bants

I've been recommending this to friends for ages, used to be 375 but has been 350 for ages now, normal price me thinks.

  • rapid multitasking!

  • are there cheap phones like these with Optical Image Stabilization?

  • does the second sim support 3 G ? ie 4G and 3 G ?

  • I had a previous model, the glass was an issue for me, slight pressure on it, it cracks, I'm sure a drop on to carpet and it would be the same and then $100+ bucks to repair as well as all the time it takes. I don't know about Asahi glass, but I am guessing it may be junk as well. Maybe someone can throw some light on this. The phone was great but its these little quality things that become expensive. Also no updates of the OS

  • Looks like a rebranded meizu m3 note. Has the same specs and body looks very similar.

  • I actually said lol when I read the name of this phone.

I remember back to the early days when Kogan was innovative in his business good value and quality
