    You a staff member??

    • updated, sorry

    • no im just a customer. i always use allneeds to buy computer stuff and by far this is the best deal for gtx 1060 6gb in australia

  • CALL OR EMAIL TO CHECK STOCK

    Seriously?

    • the store doesnt update the web frequently. but i think there are still available.. i saw couple of them instore yesterday when i bought a cpu cooler

      • That's not how it works. A proper store can't assume that customers will run after them to check stock. Nowadays you have a look at the page and if it doesn't say in stock you look at the competition. Simple

        • +2

i dont own the store or have any association with the store, and couldnt careless how they run it.. im just here sharing a great deal.. well atleast in my opinion..

  • Great price for a local Giga G1 1060.

  • +1

MSY is selling the Gainward version GTX1060 6GB for the same price. If Allneeds run out of stock.

    for comparisson: http://www.msy.com.au/sa/holdenhill/pc-components/17302--gai…

gigabyte g1 goes for $449 on msy and worst customer support:p

      • I know. The Giga G1 is a super-bargain at that price but Allneeds are notorious for having no stock. I wasn't trying to diminsih your post. It's killer :)

        • yep true.
i try to stay away from msy especially the one in adl city. 1/10 customer support.. i was instore asking for availability on 5 items, the guy gave me the strangest look and said im asking too many question and basically wants me to eff off the store. i was the only customer at that time and there was nobody else on the line. no reason for them to be in a rush imo

        • @lasolaso: yeah. The city store is a shocker. I use the MSY out at Holden Hill when I need something quick they are not too bad and take time to discuss stuff with you if need be. Having said that last time I was there one of them called me an idiot because I said the Noctura cooler I had in my PC blows at the top of the case. He was adamant that I had therefore installed it wrong and it should blow at the back of the case. -10 customer service points for that visit.

        • @Todes Angst: >called me an idiot

          :D

          MSY IS BEST MSY!

        • @Todes Angst:
I had a Western guy serve me recently at the MSY Slacks Creek store. Dam, he was so rude to me and I was buying nearly a $1000 worth of PC parts. If it wasn't for that I was saving about $50, I would of walked out and went to Umart instead. They are low on my go to store now.

  • If they ever hit < $300 that might be my cave in point.

  • Pretty good card. Mine OCed to 2151mhz on the gpu. Temps are relatively good as well, just make sure that you have a case with good airflow.

How would this compare to a RX 480 G1 Gaming 4GB, in the long term i want a good card to do well for the next 4 years.

    • -1

LOL ..for the long term even a RX 470 4GB CRUSHES the GTX 1060 into dust .. let alone the RX480

Nvidia's GTX1060 is like a wet noodle when it comes to fending off DX12/Vulkan games… its great with DX11 but falls flat on its face with new games

DuseX DX12 has the RX470 4GB Stomping all over the GTX1060 6GB.. and this is a sign of things to come.

      http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/deus_ex_mankind_divided…

in 4 years from now you will see RX470 and RX480 around 30-40% faster then GTX1060 because there will be ZERO DX11 games being bench marked in reviews.

Nvidia does not make future proof products

GTX680 was 20% faster then HD7970 on release.. today its 30% slower
GTX780ti was 20% faster then r9 x290 on release today its 20% slower

      AMD RX 460 is trash!

      • in 4 years from now

You'll probably have a new card??

RX480 stomping all over GTX 1060

You are massively overexaggerating the differences between the two cards.

        • Probably a bit exaggerated but his point is true. The RX 480 is a better card for futureproofing. New games that employ DX12 will run better on it.

  • +1

dammit… trying not to pull the trigger on these deals…. need new GPU…. must resist!

  • Allneeds is a great local store, but their stock levels are horrible. Often leads to me going to MSY instead, which says a lot..

  • +1

    They are now $435 :(

  • +1

so many nvidia deals and so few rx480 and rx470 deals is it that amd have chip shortages ?
