Just noticed that it's noticably cheaper to buy two tyres rather than the (also discounted) twin pack from Pro Bike Kit.
Free delivery for orders over $80, so it's the cheapest way to get a pair of these tyres.

20mm are $84.58
23-25mm are $81.88

Much appreciated if you use my referral link (I get $10 credit for every successful referral)

  • Thanks OP, best price I've seen on these tyres.

  • Cheaper than Wiggle or CRC…nice find. Tempted but I've still got a spare set.

  • Pay in GBP (if you have a good ccard conversion) around $78.21 AUD, plus 3.2% cashreward.

Didn't post as it runs out quickly, but recently probikekit (UK) and then hours later (AU) have been running a declining discount which starts at 20% and drops every hour, exclusions are normally garmin and recently shimano.

    • A code popped up for me 'NIGHT10' which takes this down to $72.12 using the GBP trick above. And cashrewards on top… great deal!

  • Cheaper than the previous deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/259429

  • Very good price, and these guys have reasonably quick shipping from my experience.

    Thank you, referral code used.

Just as a note of caution. These guys are below par when it comes to delivery. If you go standard delivery it can easily take a month to get here or not at all. Search this forum and you will see others complaints. Despite this, I ordered a CM-1000 camera on their last deal. cm-1000
After waiting a month as per their emails, they finally looked into it. I had to fill out a form for them to check the courier and now they are offering a refund. I don't believe it was even sent out as at least one other here had the same issue…probably more!! I'm asking them to provide some proof that the item was actually sent but haven't heard back from them.

Still, if you are stocking up and don't mind the wait or possible 'lost' delivery then probably not an issue

Here's an interesting one from ebay right now. $80 and getting 15% off with the CODE15 deal and then $8.25 postage. Comes to $76.25 posted

      • I could have saved $3 for a doughnut!

        • I could have saved $3 for a doughnut!

Yeah true but it does come from an Australian dealer rather than the UK

          @slipperypete:
          I was being serious.
I would have preferred to keep the profit in australia and the doughtnut in my mouth!

        • @damion:
Ah yes but then you'd miss out on quite a few $10 referrals…and that's a lot of doughnuts (and a good reason to get your deal)

Pity these didn't come in 28mm from probike. Despite my grievances I would have still swallowed my pride and anger at this mob and bought another set

      • only in 23mm though, I prefer 25mm.

        • yeah that's the bummer about it. To be honest despite my complaining I would have bought some of these from probike despite mine and others problems but I have switched to 28mm and they arent in stock.

I ride a lot of rough country roads and these have been a godsend, there is considerable difference in comfort. Rolling resistance is better too according to what I have read. Just need a bike that can take them!

    • I was about to inquire about my CM-1000 order, but it just turned up over 4 weeks later ! It was shipped seperatly fro my tyre order which arrived around week 3.

Yours may be still in the mail, their policy states that they cover lost items

      • Thanks for letting me know. They have already said they are refunding the money so I guess mines a no go!!

    • Either I'm lucky or they've stepped up their game. 8 days for my tyres!

  • I have 6 of these and 3 gator skins from all the sales recently.

  • The last PBK order I did, ordered 30th August, delivered 7th Sept. A lot quicker than expected, I was expecting it to arrive the week after!

  • i bought schwalbe one's from PBK two weeks ago for a similar price, yet to appear.

  • I've never ordered from pbk but i have from wiggle many times. Wiggle apparently price match and their delivery seems more consistent (between 1 and 2 weeks every time for me)

PBK delivery is super slow. Don't recommend if you need anytime soon. Have ordered extensively from CRC, Wiggle and a host of other UK-based suppliers and PBK by far the slowest. Last order took about 6 weeks to come.

    • Super fast for me, my order arrived yesterday. 8 days!

  • Thank you. Just put on new tyres yesterday! Came at the right time.

I've price matched the previous PBK GP4000S deal at Wiggle. I try to buy from them if possible. You know you've bought too much bike stuff when you're a platinum member!

  • Do 99Bikes usually price match??

    • +1

      .. update .. I spoke to Andrew at 99Bikes HQ at 4.40pm this day .. 19/09/2016.

Andrew got authority to price match (less $1) re Continental GP 4000S II 25C Bike Tyres - 2 .. received discount voucher code as promised .. code is PBCONTI81

Not valid. Is that a single-use code? What was the final price?

      • didn't work either.
