For those of us who cant afford or wont spend $800 on a 1080 there is the 1070

Since the ebay code came out, searched around and got these cards all with aftermarket 3.0 coolers. Cheap price, black edition has no back plate for cheaper price

    Basically its EVGAs aftermarket cooler, not the reference one that comes with NVIDIA cards

        Usually looks pretty, because when you slot in your card you usually see the back and the side of it.

        EDIT: some people say it helps the ram on the card a little and the stability (bendyness when you stick it in) but its mostly looks

    Yeah its just got the white led instead of RGB and is black and no backplate

  i'm fairly certain both versions of the SC has white LED neither has RGB

    Checked the link, picture has RGB Led indicator. Checked newegg just incase, also has RGB. Black edition was the money saving version and specifically had only white led and no backplate.

      Nah i'm certain it doesnt have rgb, i bought an evga card pretty recently so i've done my research. If it says so in the link, i think it's probably wrong.

        Yep seems you are correct, looks like multiple sellers have missed the fact that rgb led are only for FTW editions. I even checked pccasegear and it looks like they made the same mistake too. Good catch Hunga, will edit it

    Same here. They left me buyer feedback though. I looked at the negative reviews on the seller, doesn't look too promising. Paid via paypal so it shouldn't be too bad in the worst case, but still I want my FTW 1070 haha.
