  • $10 more expensive than the last sale. Still a good deal

    • $19.95 more than previous deal! But agreed still good deal

Wife is very happy with it. She just needs it to work on (word, excel, browsing) etc. Long battery life and very light. I just played with it for a few minutes, the touchpad is not he best piece of tech, but she was ok with it. I got her a mouse.

  • It's hard to go wrong with this laptop if you're just after something simple, small, and light. It's no performance beast, but it's got enough grunt for basic tasks.

  • Just bought this laptop at the ebay CSUN20 20% of, its great

    Pros
    ●Light
    ●Cheap
    ●Sturdy and good build quality/aesthetics
    ●Has SSD (YES)
●Has a good processer for the money (playing the old gen titles such as deus ex GOTY or the fall is getting 60 fps at maxed 768p
    ● Ram and storage can be upgraded

    Cons
●the screen is 1366 by 768, not the best but it does fine, the screen also has bad brightness and bad viewing angles
●the trackpad is not the best but certainly usable (just bring a mouse)
    ●webcam and microphone is ok

Over all a solid laptop for the price

    • what brand

          Dell inspiron 3000

Thought i made this clear by saying "bought this laptop"

  • Sure it's $20 more than the last deal, but for the specs that this machine comes with its still a very decent deal.

At the same price range ($300-350) you will usually get a less powerful Atom/ Celeron CPU, 2 gigs of RAM and 32 GB eMMC storage (a seriously under-capacity glorified SD card, a pain if you want to run Windows). This laptop outshines the HP Stream 11 and Ideapad 100s at this price. Although the bright, vibrant colours are a bit annoying for a grown-up like me, but then again, education market was the target customers for Dell with this product.

I ordered one for myself in the last deal to use as a secondary Linux machine and for travelling across South Asia on the holidays.
