IPS Monitor - really good price $300 everywhere else.

This Philips BDM3201FD 31.5" Monitor has a large display which gives you more room to work, watch media or play games. The screen has full 1080p HD with a 1920 x 1080p resolution.
This monitor has a full 1080p HD display.
It features a 3 ms response time.
It uses DVI-D, VGA and HDMI connections.
The monitor includes 2 5 W built-in speakers.
It has a 16:9 aspect ratio.
This monitor uses a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount for wall mounting.
It features IPS-ADS wide-view technology for accurate images and colours.
This screen measures 31.5".

          In terms of what is fair. It's pretty unfair for them to take a massive loss because a online community abused what was an obvious mistake.

          Would be great if they honored it, but I don't think fairness comes into it.

        Are you referring to the one about the Chromecast? Still skeptical on whether this particular deal will be honor since the price difference is too high.

          exactly chromecast deal, I think OW will suffer some loss to maintain its goodwill because OW can not simply reject hundreds or maybe thousands of orders and future customers.

          @randomrandom: I don't know about that actually… I can see them doing that if the loss is small (relative to their turnover), however, this is a massive lost of roughly $200 per unit and as such, I think OW will most likely acknowledge their mistakes and maybe fork out some free store credit at best.

          Still… one can still dream that this deal go through.

          @ProjectZero: I agree, I am not saying OW will do what I am saying but it's my thought and may be OW will reject to entertain the orders. $200 per unit is for customers, I am sure OW purchase price of these units will be less than half of selling price. In the end, it still remains a loss but I do not think for such loss OW will put their goodwill in danger as rejecting hundreds of customers is not that easy decision.

          @randomrandom: Don't think they care about reputation in this particular case. Harvey Norman, David Jones… etc did this many times, yet people still buying from them. Anyway, wish we get it finger crossing!

          I had this insane theory where they were actually emptying out the last stock in the warehouse or something, so they just listed it out for this price.

        Mine got cancelled. Should've got it delivered so that it could've left the warehouse before they put a stop to it. With C&C they could just cry wolf and say we don't have it…

    I placed an order for C&C, but got an email regarding reviewing the order. I called OW just now to ask why no confirmation email has been send, the lady said my order was cancelled as it was a pricing error and money had been refunded. I checked and the funds was in fact refunded yesterday to my credit card. I hate OW now!

          Yes it's definitely a lottery, over the years I've had some wins & losses with posts like this, so I don't get too worried about it anymore.
          I don't call up the store asking if it will be honored because that just gets more staff involved & will reduce the risk of it going through the system cleanly.
          Just sit back and wait to see what happens.
