Do you even lift bro ? Belt is not for your lower back, it is for bracing your core.
I have a herniated disc and I wear a belt when squatting even moderate weight as it allows me to lock my core nice and tight so that there is less load on my lower back. Yes I squat properly - arse to grass, I just have to lift carefully with my injury and a belt allows me to do that.
I'm in the same boat, good form doesn't help when there is a constant weak point in the chain. Belt helps to keep everything together and still push out the weight
This seems to be the normal price for a standard non-branded belt. Nothing special to see here.
Most of the guys I see wearing these at the gym are posers anyway. Typically with straps too, they just walk around for the 'look', doing isolation stuff. But of course most are twiggy little guys can't dead or squat for $hit.
Can you get into clubs with this thing on?
