Bring back the $25 with 180 day expiry

    • Whats the best prepaid with long expiry? OVO is $30 for 13GB for 30 days. Need something for the parents who use internet bugger all.

My oldies use Telstra $50 5Gb 365days. Topup rollover.
update: Looks like Optus now does $50 7Gb 365days. Topup rollover.

That's pretty good for those who barely use 500Mb/mth.

        • Thanks

Yeah, and VF should fix the no-name address labels.

Yes had that issue a couple of times and a bit reluctant to order again because of that.
Reported it to customer service, but I had a feeling the feedback was just filed in the waste paper basket :-)

      • Maybe send it to your parcel locker. That also avoids having to sign.

        • That's exacty what the problem was (both times):

          1) No parcel locker number - just the street address of the Parcel Locker
          2) No customer name (instead something generic like "to: online prepaid customer"

Luckily I was tracking it and the PO is nearby and the staff were able to fish it out the back (and trusted that it was actually mine)

Any idea when this needs to be activated. Can I buy now and activate in December?

    • Very likely - I ordered two recently and they did not have an expriy on them.

    • Hi Spanman, can confirm that you have 3 months to activate a prepaid sim card from Vodafone. Confirmed with a customer service rep over the phone last week during their $25 (for the $50 package) deal.

I thought the advantage of VF starter packs was that they don't expire.

      • +1

        No expiry date !

        • Good to know. Guess whomever I spoke to had no idea what they were on about :P

    • I had chat with VF online, I was told no expiry date

      • Me too

  • Kogan Mobile is $37/month for 8GB (uses the Vodafone network).
In case people want it for more than a month, it's a better deal.
