This is incredibly cheap for a 10 week competition.
I believe you need to organise and pay for your own court hire. Is that right OP?
So $25 to play 6-8 matches over 10 weeks that you have to organise yourself, not including court hire. Grass court hire is ~$15/hour, split between two players, probably over an hour and they likely don't round down so $15 per game. So $115-145 for 6-8 games you arrange yourself.
Looking at my local league and divisions it looks like there aren't enough players to actually get those 6 games. In all four divisions only two people managed 6 games. Each division has 5-7 players and each division has that guy that only plays once and then buggers off so realistically 4-6 players. 6 matches is only possible for the one guy who gets to play the guy that buggers off and only in the 7 player divs.
On the upside - I think I'll start up tennis again this season.
