      JB-HiFi is the gimbal model.

I will pay a bit more to get Phantom 3 or Xiaomi drone 1080P version

    • -4

      A bit more

      $1,699 to be exact

      • +2

Phantom 3 standard was under $600 from wireless1 but deal has expired.

      • P3 4k for 799 from last sale, and comes with 4k camera

      • -3

That's the price of the phantom 4

I bought the 3 advanced for under 1000 last week

This needs you to still purchase a gopro/xiaomi for video

But it has no gimbal - so video will be shaky as F

        Wasted money IMO

But it has no gimbal - so video will be shaky as F

          But it says:

Use the Delta Drone Gimbal to film professional quality and stabilised footage from the air. Using 2-axis’, the Delta Drone Gimbal is the ideal tool to take your aerial footage to the next level. Eliminate shakes and bumps in your videos and let the Gimbal do the work. Use the Transmitter to control the tilt and pitch of the Gimbal, whilst it’s in the air.

        • @eug:

          Fair point.

I clicked the link. I see I see

I was basing my comment off the quoted text that says "gimbal adaptor :optional accessory"

Don't most gimbals have 3 axis stabilisation not just 2 axis anyways?

        • @eug:

And I just watched the review videos

          It IS shaky as F

          Lolol

well. its so funny, some guys never look at ozbargain or spend couple of mins to searching for a good deal in Internet. Then give me a negative vote. LOL

      • Never buy from camerasky

        • Why? Any experiences… Im looking to buy a flash and they seem to have the cheapest rates. Can't find any reviews about camerasky though further info will be welcome

        • @tariqsaleem:

Oops… Jumped the gun… Should have clicked the link by kulprit first :)

There are newer stories where they are working on it, but still needing fair trading in the first place isn't a good sign.

This is soooo tempting! I had a Parrot AR Drone 2.0 but I didn't like the app and I also couldn't attach a gopro. I just shouldn't spend this type of money.

The batteries and rotors are dirt cheap at Officeworks. On clearance.

I say the same thing everyday :)

      The batteries are dirt cheap

I never knew OW sells drone battery. That's very good price but can't find info about its charge rate.

    • Wow office works would have been the last place I would have thought sold quadcopters.

    • All out of stock

    • +3

So what do we do for the next few years before new battery technology matures? Stop buying technology?

      • +1

It's why I use a Nokia 3210 and still haven't entered the smartphone market yet. /s

    • It's very easy to understand why people do what they do, cause the holy grail of batteries ain't here yet.

  • A Plus for the price but how about price beat at Officeworks? http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/kaiser-baas…

    • Nope! They don't sell the gimbal. So its not like for like. It does illustrate how good the JB deal is!

  • Cheerson CX-20 is definitely better bang for buck IMHO

    • Totally agree. I've been contemplated getting a second one as the first has been hanging on a tree for months and refuses to drop.

  • uhm, this or the newly released Mavic Pro?

    • +1

Mavic Pro looks awesome but its about 4x as much!

    • +1

If you're able to afford the Mavic Pro, it would clearly be the preferred choice!

      • well, it depends whether it is worth $1200 extra to get the extra features of the mavic? I am just the beginner but at the same time, I dont want to buy into something knowing that in the future, you have to fork out to update if you want to go advance

        • If cost wasn't a concern, I'd go the Mavic any day. Subject tracking, gesture controls, a stable gimbal, obstacle avoidance, compact foldable design, big name so spare parts will be easy to find, longer range, higher speed, better controller…

But if you're just wanting to play around a bit, this will work fine. If you're really into aerial photos/video, I reckon you'll outgrow this really quickly though.

        • @eug: thanks for your advice

        • actually for a beginner, DJI will be really easy to learn on with :)

  • Anyone interested in the GoPro Karma?

    • no

    • Me, its better

    • Yes. It has everything in a package.

  • Just adding my two cents, this is the best quadcopter I have ever brought in terms of value for money: http://www.jaycar.com.au/4-channel-remote-control-quadcopter…

    • Better than Syma X5C-1?

    • how many have you bought?

    • How many quadcopters have you used?

      • I've brought/used 5 so I'm not the most experienced guy around. I haven't used the Syma X5c-1, in reviews they look very similar. Might have to check it out.

  • Whats the cheapest drone/quadcopter that will allow me to attach my GoPro?
