  Just FYI the Z506, 5.1 speakers is only $57 dollars at EBGames, though stock is limited.

    But the Z623 are worlds better than the Z506. More speakers doesn't mean it's better

      Really does depend on what you want to do with them. For a lounge room or bedroom pc setup I would pick the 5.1 surround and not them them up beyond just over half way. For a backyard party I suspect these 2.1 speakers will give you more volume though I have read the bass distorts but I dont own them. I have used older x530 5.1 speakers for parties and 2 small weddings and they're quite useable as long as its not a large area and the neighbours don't try to drown you out with something beefier. If you have oldies attending they ask you to turn it down anyway - at least that is my experience at kids parties.

  If you don't need them now, wait for another special. I've seen these go for much cheaper than $118.

  My personal opinion was that these sounded like shite.
  Each to their own, but i wouldn't buy another set.
