Lifetime stuff is usually not a good idea.

They wont be able to pay for good servers / infrastructure with a single payment. Would not recommend. Instead looks for PIA deals.

Ponzi style VPN businesses are a real threat thing.

  • Or if going to risk a lifetime sub, what about USD29 'lifetime' license for 5 concurrent devices https://stacksocial.com/sales/vpn-unlimited-lifetime-subscri… that way if you only get 1 or 2 yrs price is cheap. Saving USD10 for a same-same service

    • VPN Unlimited does not allows P2P

  • I just signed up for a 2 day trial to test it, costs $2USD

I tested the 3 Australian servers using OpenVPN, with all 3 encryption methods and both UDP and TCP.

Very slow, half the speed I get with other VPN services. If the speeds were good I may have taken the risk, but not worth it for crap speeds.

  • I've got a life time VPN for more than a year, speed is descent for my slow ADSL2, can be 90% of my max speed. No complaints, also allow 5 devices.
It's a gamble, but not all life time sub is bad, it all depends on how many full price subscriptions I guess.

    • what price range is considered a good deal? who are you with

and is there a bandwidth cap?
