Hmmmm…“SATISFACTION 100% GUARANTEED. PLEASE READ ON…..New Cosmetic Condition. Although the item is Brand New in appearance this is not a Brand New Sealed Box unit and may have been activated previously………"

    • Yeah I read that too. So could be a US model with limited bands…

      • +3

        7 day satisfaction guarantee

      • I did check the Apple iPhone 6s A1688 on Willmyphonework and it lists that it has all 2G, 3G, 4G bands. Let me know if I'm missing something though and I'll can the deal if there is a major issue.

        • yep thats right, A1688 has all the major bands.

      • There are only 2 iPhone 6s variants, the "international" model and an AT&T USA variant with one additional band. All 6s's support all current Australian bands.

  • No charger included.

    • I thought about this and the Australian warranty.

It's $150 cheaper without the Australian warranty (but with their warranty plus credit card warranty) and wall charger.

Is a USB wall charger and warranty worth $150? Not to me. The wall charger can be bought for a couple of bucks at any dollar store and the warranty doesn't cover accidents. I've had two iPhones and only one maybe warranty issue, and that was 2.5 years after purchase and cost $7 for a new camera on eBay. Took 10 min to replace.

Bought one thanks. After discount and GST, it's only $666 for the 64gb iPhone 6s Plus.

Use it for a year and then sell it for maybe the same price.

I'd say this phone has been activated and therefore there is no apple warranty.

    • No tax invoice. How can you get GST?

      • +1

I already received the tacna invoice via email. GST is charged on original price.

        • I must ask them to get mine. Thanks.

  • 64gb 6s+ sold out now…

  • Damn cheap.

    will pass. looks bit iffy

So basically used for 1 year already and then sell…..$751 for iphone 6s Plus 64gb is a normal price on other websites.

all come with 12 month seller warranty.

    Definitely grey import.

    Some common questions answered:

Will Apple accept my warranty here?

Yes. Apple warranty is worldwide. However, Apple activate warranty on the purchase date of the phone. If this is a grey-import then the purchase date will most likely be when the supplier purchased the phone (not when you first turn on the phone) so you may get less than a year.

How long will the warranty be?

Apple provide a 1-year worldwide hardware warranty and 90 days technical support with all new devices. However as mentioned above, you might not get the full year.
These devices are not eligible for coverage through Apple under Australian Consumer Law (which usually gets you 24 months). However, you will still have full Australian Consumer Law rights through the seller.

Will it work with Australian carriers?

Yes, most likely. See here for more information.

    • @Ahan did say he got a tax invoice with GST so it doesn't seem to be grey import

  • +1

best thing to do here is buy one, take into apple, make up fake warranty issue eg battery dies in a few hours and then see if you get a swap

  • Whilst it's questionable where they sourced the stock, it's definitely not grey import. The seller is based in Australia and supply tax invoice with GST.

The seller is based in Australia and supply tax invoice with GST.

So is Kogan. Who grey import.

Just because they sell from Australia and/or charge GST, doesn't mean they can or don't import.

      • Kogan HK sells grey import. The units were shipped from overseas and therefore no GST, that's why their final sale price is competitive.

      • If GST is paid the purchase is covered under Australian consumer laws, I wonder what's the issue there?

  • +3

Cheap but I would spend more to get brand new unit.

  • I forgot to mention, get from other 2nd websites like gumtree/ebay(private seller), will get you another ACL 1 year warranty, which i think is easier when you can go back to Apple store and fix it rather than reseller.

    • Reference? Never heard of private resaler of used goods can extend original warranty

    • I don't think this is the case. Otherwise my wife and I would 'sell' each other our iPhones and whammo…. 12 months warranty

      • usually private seller sells the Australian version of the iphone. which is eligible for the australia consumer law, which gives another 1 year.

        • They are not Australian based and hence ACL will not apply so proceed with caution. From the looks it, it is not Apple refurb.

  • This sounds like second hand to me.

    • hence, "All of our products are tested to the highest standards and we stand behind their quality, blah, blah, blah." - if they were new, they wouldn't be tested.

  • Does anyone know how to change the text-message tone on an iPhone 6 to a something outside of the offered defaults? I've looked around but can't find a way or guide on how to do so.

  • +1

Second hand and not labelled as such

  • All sold out.but I able to get one.

  • +1

    Deceptive eBay listing.

New: Never Used is meant for new items that have not been used.

Not refurbished which by definition has been used.

  • +2

Whether it is deceptive, used, grey-import or not, I am happy to give it a go.

Worst case scenario is I get it shipped back for a full refund. I will not be paying for shipping as I can claim it from Paypal.

The courier has picked up the phone from the seller, I should receive it tomorrow. I will report back tomorrow night as to the condition of the phone.

  • I have got mine delivered. But sure if I should keep it. I think 16 gb is not enough.

  • Got the phone, in a plain white box I got a phone, usb cable and Apple headphones. The phone is not new but in good mint condition I could only find one scratch. Headphone jack and lighting cable port had visible marks. It confirm it's not a new but used phone but in good condition. I will be returning this unit. Any issues I will let you know.

    • I guess I got lucky then.
Mine is brand new condition. The phone only had 33 recharge cycles and still has about two months warrnty left.

I will be keeping the phone.

  • Received mine yesterday an "Excellent" condition iPhone 6 16GB, updated to ios 10.0.2, then a full phone reset and charged it up to 100%. Started using the phone and noticed battery was draining quicker than all my previous phones, 3 hours went from 100% down to 50%, was only doing setting changes etc, haven't even started downloading any apps. So only downloaded Battery Life app and showing "Very Bad" 31% wear level, Capacity was at 69% which is rubbish! According to their listing, these things have gone thorough testing. Will be returning this second hand phone (wouldn't call it a refurb at all) negative feedback on eBay for sure.

    • My battery just went flat even though it is saying 41%….

      • This is getting beyond ridiculous… Mine now has a rattle inside which I can only assume is a screw that has come loose.

  • Received mine earlier in the week and couldn't be happier - 6S, 64GB, space grey (the last of this model on eBay).

Phone is in as new condition, no scuff marks or scrapes.

Charged it up and running smoothly. I just downloaded the Battery Life app and it has 99.13% capacity remaining!

Sorry other people have had bad experiences but I'm extremely happy with my purchase. As an extra bonus I get another $80 or so back through TRS when I travel to London later this month.

    • If they have replaced the battery (which they quite possibly have) then although it will be excellent now it will deteriorate quite fast.
I buy and resell iphones and fix them up and experience this issue quite a lot, replacement batteries are good but after about 6-12 months they start turning off when the phone says anywhere between 50-10% battery left

      • I just saw in the ebay page they say "never used".

But @Ahan said above it has "33 recharge cycles", so it should be a "used phone"?
