Nice, any USB Type-C cable deals to go with it? :)

    • I paid ~Au$ 4 for a dual-output charger WITH Input-Voltage display
(turn key to On - without starting car to assess battery charge-level

Be careful: We've had one, whose + contact point pushed into the unit
(would not come out to connect to +12v inside lighter-plug)

Some units - priced like this one - can also display Current drawn &
Temp (of what? Inside unit? Inside of car? what? :-/

Be sure it's measuring Temp in degrees Celsius.

You can add Google Pixel to the description as a compatible phone too :)

    • Why? I'm quite sure those phones use USB Type C.

      • +1

You can buy a USB Type-A to USB type-C cable, which can be used with this deal :)

        • Fair enough.

        • According to the Play Store you actually get that cable with the Pixel, so no need to buy one.

          What's in the box
          Pixel or Pixel XL
          USB-C 18 W adaptor with USB-PD
          USB-C to USB-C Cable
USB-C to USB Standard-A plug cable
          SIM tool
          Headphones with rubber earbuds
          OTG Dongle
          Safety and warranty information
          Quick start guide
          Google Assistant card
          Google Social promo card

        • @nismo: Nice, didn't get the type-a to type-c on the 5X last year as opposed to the 6P, so it's good to see both phones get the same cables this year :)

        • @nismo:

That cable is quite short…You can use an A-C cable, or even a A-microA cable with a USB-C converter dongle

can you do another deal for the 5port quick charger please?? i missed out last time. need 1

  • +2

    Thanks OP!
Just bought one, hoping it'll arrive here closer to the 7 days, rather than the 25 haha
Didn't think express shipping was worth an extra $6
    Kinda wrecks the deal price

    • +1

If shipping goes anywhere near Australia Post…not worth it…5 days to Australia then 15 DAYS to get it out of their "system".

      • Yeah ikr -.-
I'm fairly lucky that I'm in Sydney which makes waiting for it to move from the sorting house not too hard

        • +1

I am in Sydney too. Had to chase ozpost to track it down as Singpost tracking stops once reaches Ozposts gloriously inefficient system.

        • @alxr0101:

Update: the shipping delay was possibly caused by industrial action by Customs that affected Australia Post services. I had to submit a query to Australia Post to track down status and expedite delivery.

It was stuck in Australia for almost 3 weeks after arriving fairly promptly (via Singpost) from Banggood.

  • Just tried to use this code to only buy a USB C. It didnt work :(

  • Curious to know if there are any users' review on whether this thing gets hot at all? I've read some horror stories where these things caught on fire (albeit probably non branded stuff).

    • It is the best one I have ever tried. I have tried so many and spent hundreds of dollar before I found this one a few months ago. This is my second purchase of the same model. They have another model released earlier than this one. But this one supply lot more current than their old model.

  • Is Quick Charge 2.0 Compatible with iphone 6S plus?

    • +1
    • +1

iphone 7 doesn't support quick charge so I assume iphone 6s wouldn't too since it's previous version.

  • Just a warning that I ordered a similar charger through banggood ((this deal)[https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/256136]), which even said it had Q.C 3.0 but none of the port offer quick charge. Contacted them and got sent a replacement item but no different. I even bought the usb amp meter to test them out but all the ports could only delivered around same current as 2.1A charger.

    • +1

What phone were you trying to charge?

    • +2

It will only draw what your phone/device is willing to draw.

      • how about a note 5? I'm silly enough to claim q.c feature from an iphone

  • Thanks OP! Got one, been needing it! :)

  • Can this be used for s7 edge or note 7?

    • yes, but whether it'll quick charge your galaxy is questionable based on my experience with similar model

  • In terms of charging speed, which one would be better, this deal or the Tronsmart C2PTU Charger?

    http://www.tronsmart.com/tronsmart-c2ptu-quick-charge-3.0-an…

    • From your link

27% faster than Quick Charge 2.0 technology

      which this one is.

  • Order Subtotal: AU$13.31
    Shipping Fee: AU$0.00
    Insurance: AU$0.00

    Coupon Discount: AU$3.99

5cent premium on my order! Thanks op.

  • What type of cable do i need to have/buy for the quick-charge to work on my Samsung S6 Edge?

    • +1

The cable comes with original wall charger is OK so basically you don't need to buy special cable

      • Ok, but if I didnt currently have the original cable, what type of cable do I need to buy, or will any do?

  • Are there any that are compatible with Nexus 6P?

  • +2

Bought this previously, works well with my Samsung Note 4

  • Anyone used one of these with an HTC m10?

  • +1

Can anyone please confirm, only 1 of the ports is a quick charge port?
Does anyone make 1 that has all ports as quick charge?

  • can someone recommend a good USB cord around 2m long?

  • 35v usb output?
That's one way to fry your devices

    • Is it really dangerous to use this thing or it is totally safe to use it?

      • Nah just a typo it's 3.6v it's fine
