Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 700 (12" 1440p, m3-6Y30, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD) $600 Delivered @ Futu Online eBay

980
C20TEC

Cheapest deal I've seen for this 2-in-1 tablet with Australian warranty.

Intel® Core™ m3-6Y30 Processor (4M Cache, 900 MHz), Turbo Boost 2.0 (2.2 GHz)
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
12.0" FHD+ (2160x1440), glare, 400 nits, 3:2 aspect ratio, IPS display, multi-touch, support 10-point
Wacom® Active pen
4GB 1600MHz LPDDR3, soldered to systemboard
Solid State Drive (SSD), M.2: 128GB
Ports: USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Micro HDMI

Comes with keyboard and stylus

I saw it for $750 pre-sale and thought they might jack up the price, considering they are already cheaper than other places ($850+). But to their credit, it didn't go up, so comes to $600 after the 20%!

      Case colour Black

  • Bargain! Say good bye to my ipad air 2.

  • i got one thanks. i really liked the design of surface but couldnt afford it. this lenovo is great price. I have a lenovo desktop and its served me well.

  • The warranty of the product seems to be less than a year if you check in Lenovo website. Does anyone have the same issue?

    • yes - I assume you need to register. The link to register is in warranty lookup tool page. The number that you are looking at probably based on manufacture date. Once you register, it should be updated.

      Info from page:

Why do I need to register my base warranty?
My warranty start or end date is wrong using warranty lookup tool
My warranty information is not available in the warranty lookup tool
If you have not checked your warranty status, Please visit to our Warranty Lookup Page

Please register to get your date corrected
Select your country to view the instructions

  • did anyone get theirs yet? just wondering how long it will take to get

    • You should have a tracking number. Mine is "click and collect" in Adelaide, was on the truck the day ordered, at the Adelaide depot by Monday, and is out for delivery to BigW today according to the 'Fastway' site. They are a franchising service, and reports suggest there are good and poor franchises :-/ Within 2 weeks is fair, you can always imagine that slow delivery means they can translate the french word 'Fragile", which means "toss gently".

Yes, they tossed it into my front yard, without my signature. I could have claimed I didn't get it and they'll be in big trouble. Lucky it wasn't damaged.

        • No sig or even ID needed at Woolworths either. It's a good thing I'm almost honest…

        • @terrys:

got mine too and i asked the guy do i have to sign and he said no

    • Hopefully tomorrow.

  • I purchased it on Tuesday and it has not been posted yet. Soon hopefully

Interesting to note that this product is no longer on Lenovo au website. Banner comes up saying it has been discontinued. Perhaps because new model is coming out

  • I ordered on Sunday night and just got a notification of a courier tracking no.

  • I just got the notification now that it has been sent with tracking number
Hoping to get it tomorrow as I'm in Sydney so I can play with it on the weekend

  • Got mine today. Just doing a windows update. Lots have failed but I think the anniversary one is going down now.
    So far looks great!

  • Played with it for a night. Screen is brilliant, keyboard and touch pad perfect. Form factor great. Pen accurate.

Only issue is I probably just wont use it. I work for a Linux/OpenSource company and windows is a little frowned on.

    • But it was cheap. Can we please find a special medal for Boxall folks…
BTW, Power/Volume up goes to the BIOS, and it does have toggles for UEFI/Legacy and USB boot options [USB CD/FLOPPY?HD], turning off safe boot and recovery ect so I might try and see if Mint is an option later today. I may even give 'metro' Ubuntu a look now I have touch screen, but my pitchfork and torch are still in the corner…

      • Thanks terrys. Yep great price. Ozbargained.

  • OK not sure if this is allowed but I am happy to sell this at the cash rewards price to someone in Brisbane. Just wont be using it.

    So $590.

  • Where's the 3D rear camera? Mine has a flash so looks like the non-3D one.

    • Mine didn't have a 3D Camera either. Did anyone actually get one that did?

Searching the model number (80QL00BGAU) on the eBay page returns a few results that do not list the 3D Camera.

  • Device came today. Few thoughts:

    1. 138 days left of Warranty, on a 1 year Warranty? Not sure if that's Futu Online dodginess or Lenovo stupidity.
    2. No Intel RealSense 3D camera, despite what the listing on eBay says. Just has the standard 5MP and Flash Camera.
    3. Who ever at Lenovo decided it was a good idea to stick product stickers to the screen is a moron. Spent an hour getting all the glue off.
    4. Touch pad doesn't feel as nice as my Surface Pro 3, but the keyboard feels a little bit more solid.
    5. Magnets on the Keyboard aren't as strong as I'd like, but again I'm comparing with a Surface Pro 3.
    6. Lenovo Bloatware…
    • My stickers came off easily.

We must have some way of resetting the warranty.

Keyboard and touch pad all good.

Overall device however is a fingerprint magnet!!!!

      • Lucky on the stickers. Mine must have been baking in the sun for a bit, because more glue stuck to the screen than the actual sticker when I peeled them off.

Did some digging into the Warranty. Matabuntu above gave the solution, you need to "register" your new laptop with Lenovo to have them reset the Warranty. When I say register, I mean email, because primitive. Need to wait 24 hours for their system to process my request before I know for sure though.

I just assumed it would be like my Surface, and automatically activate/reset the warranty on first activation, vs it having started when it was assembled in the factory and then put into a box. Details for us Aussies below.

Been playing with mine a lot today. Overall I really love it. Wont be selling it now. Tablet mode and pen is superb. Just wish the clunky charging through USB wasn't there. And that pen holder is garbage.

    Screen protector required?

    • I'm warming to mine as well. I haven't fired up a 3rd party wi-fi yet to see if there are any third-party drivers floating around the Ubuntu repositories but I think Samsung are going to have to really lift their game if economies of scale put units like this in the $500-$700 range normally…

  • Anyone bought a 3rd party charging cable? Can you plug it into an iPad charger?

    • Does not appear so.

  • I bought this for click and collect in Perth. According to tracking it should arrive at Big W today.

GUYS - CHECK YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT!

Despite all my receipts saying $600, my paypal account was charged $750!! I've contacted the seller today, will update when I get a reply.

    • +1

Straight through to my credit card $600.

      • Good to know. Maybe it's just an issue with paypal. Or maybe just mine! It's weird because it lists the c20TEC discount code in the paypal transaction and says $150.

EDIT: actually on my bank account linked to paypal it has only removed $600. Don't know why it says -$750 on paypal.
Anyway, i'll check with the seller.

        • +1

It's normal with these ebay deals. PayPal will show the purchase amount as the full price, however clicking transaction details will list that 20% of the item was paid via coupon. Sometimes deal poster will put this info.

        • @matabuntu:

Okay, I wasn't aware of that.
          Thanks for the info!

  • Anyone get any spare stylus tips with theirs? Just wonder what happens when it wears? I can't see any accessories apart from a case available for it on the AU site.

Only 1 year regardless. Pretty crap

    • Had my warranty changed. Very easy. Had an issue with the keyboard feeling like it is stuck on the left hand side. Sending me a replacement. EXCELLENT service.

  • What cable to I buy to connect this to a normal projector. Is it mini hdmi to vga?

  • Don't forget that this is probably the better place to discuss things:
