  • How do the prices on these compare with the SIM Cards that Vodafone sell in Auckland Duty Free?

    • Hi Mathew

If you go onto this link from vodafones website http://www.vodafone.co.nz/prepay/ You can see that our pack for a similar price includes much less options than what we offer.

Plus, we ship to traveller before they fly out! Saving them time without having to wait in line for a SIM.

  • Is it one option only? I looked on your site. But after something more like 5gb data plus limited call/sms for a month.

    • Just browsed nz mobile provider prepaid options. All the data allowances are tiny in comparison to Australia, or quite expensive - don't nz people want data!

  • Wanting data for google maps etc.. Going to NZ in Feb. Any better data deals?

    • Sign up for Vodafone month to month sim only plan and roam in NZ for free

      • when you say month to month - you mean prepaid? I looked on the vodafone site, and it's not very clear. If so, sounds like i can activate two or three prepaid sims just before I go, and have heaps of data. thanks.

Nah, It can't be prepaid. Has to be post-paid but that does not mean you have to sign up for a contract. They have month-to-month plan which can be cancelled at anytime after you return from NZ. Have a look here http://www.vodafone.com.au/plans/sim-only

        • @shinichiduy:

          Yes this is true.

But why waste time registering for another contract when you can just get a pre-paid SIM card and be on your way?

      • Hello Jenny
Thanks for the reply. Will this sim work from Australia? Can I activate it from within Australia ? I have guests coming from overseas to Australia and they are going to visit new Zealand for 15 days. So can you suggest me best available sim for this situation.
        Thanks

  • Is this different to the free 2degrees NZ Visitor SIM that you can pickup in NZ (assuming this offer is still available)?

    • Yes absolutely Gaz1

This is a pre-paid bundle so once you pop it into your phone it will automatically add on the bundle to your account!

  • Has anyone else not received their sim yet?

    • Not yet.
