Works out a little better than the usual WELCOME $8 off code. Picked out a few decent prices with the 5% offer, unfortunately the Nexus 5X 16GB is unavailable and the 32GB is still a little pricey at $350.85 after the code compared to previous deals.

Damn. Thats a good price for the Moto G4 Plus. Too bad its an online store.

    • 3gb/32gb version. Paid way more than that for the 2/16.

Mine arrived from dicksmith sale ….VERY nice phone for under $350.

  • Title says Nexus 6P 64GB, however the deal that is showing up is the 32GB version. Had me regretting purchasing my OP3 there for a moment.

      My bad, fixed thanks!

  • There was also another nice deal a few days back on the 32GB Nexus 6P, they didn't have the black variant… Probably should've waited for this deal.. oh well, thanks OP! :)

    • Yeah that's the one I was referring to in the post "Good price if you want it now, doesn't quite beat the Dick Smith 32GB eBay deal." Will make that wording a bit clearer.

      • My bad, didn't read that bit :) Still a good price for this though

  • Had to return a S7 that stopped booting after 2 months. 10 days since they've acknowledged receiving the phone, and nothing since.
I'd be a little cautious, claiming warranty is tedious.

  • Great price on the Seiko Turtle, also the Seiko SKX007K2 is $227.05 delivered.

  • Will the Google Nexus 6P work fine with Telstra 4G? Also what is a decent screen protector and case for this phone?

  • How are these guys as a retailer? Does anyone have any good or bad experiences to share?

For example, I bought a phone from Kogan. It died 7 days prior to warranty running out. Returned the phone and got a brand new replacement (updated) phone. Great customer service from them.

    • Was it one of the Kogan-branded phones?

  • how's this online seller? Met a lady who ordered in the asus zenfone 3 and was telling me the seller's name - didn't tell me about the store other than it worked fine and had good responsiveness, but given she only just ordered it from edigital I'm sure she wouldn't have experienced any after-sales issues or problems (touch wood for her) yet to comment on.

That Turtle price is lit. If didn't just get a SKX009…

  • Great price for the Seiko Turtle. Thanks OP!

    • Did you buy one?

  • Is the Nexus 6P worth it? Got to buy a phone… not sure what to pick for less than ~500ish.

      Pretty awesome phone!

  • With the G4 Plus, can anyone provide a TL;DR on the status of root, bootloader, installing custom roms etc?

    Thanks

    • Answering my own question- offical bootloader unlock is provided by Motorola here:

      https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/b…

A little bit of support in the way of aftermarket roms, but only one or two options for this specific variant of the G4 Plus.

Haven't found any 'just root the phone' options as yet, probably due to the way Android 6 and above work (ie I'm not sure its possible to get root without an unlocked bootloader any more?)

Does anyone know if this purchase would qualify for TRS?
