      • -7

        no?

      • +3

        $237.29 AUD

        • +1

          Thanks!

      • +1

In the future you could use www.xe.com to perform the currency conversion calculation. :)

  • What shipping method do yo use and how long is the expected delivery time?

Do you offer glass screen protector and case?

    • SG POST is free shipping, normally need 15-25days.there have no tempered glass or case can fit for this model now,so we don't offer tempered glass and case.thanks.

      • +1

Is that the only method? Can we choose HKP or CNP without extra cost?

        • We ship from Hongkong warehouse, only have SG POST free shipping,or you can choose fast way DHL,need add shipping cost.thanks.

      • What do you mean? Other than bands and stock, is the phone different to the non international version? I have a note 3 pro and can get heaps of cars and tempered glass for mine

        • I'm no expert on this. Perhaps someone else can elaborate more but I read elsewhere that the dimensions of this model are in fact slightly different to the standard model. Having said that, I haven't them myself.

        • It's a couple of mm bigger so accessories for the regular one tend to not quite fit.

  • They seem to be recommended by whirlpool users as well when purchasing these Xiaomi phones.

    • Thanks very much.

    • I ordered a phone from them earlier this year. No problems at all, it was sent quickly compared to other Chinese sites I've ordered from.

  • Where is your company based?

    • vickmall is located at Shenzhen,China, thanks.

  • +1

Operating System MIUI V7 (based on Android 6.0)

Are you sure? My Note 3 runs MIUI 8.0.5.0, and it's Android 5.1.1 based.

    • Hello,it support OTA update,is your model the international version?

      • +1

No, my Redmi Note 3 is not the international version. But it runs the OTA version of MIUI 8.0.5.0 though. Are you saying that for the international version, MIUI 7 is based on Android 6?

        • I'm using the RN3 SE and yes, somehow MIUI 8 is not available yet so still stuck in MIUI 7 with Marshmallow at least.

        • i have the MIUI 8 as android 5.1 as well

        • @nanoronline: Mine is MIUI8, but the version of MIUI 8 which it runs is not based on Android 6 yet.

        • @Make it so: yeah I know, supposedly coming. I suppose somehow they're having some problems with having MIUI8 running in marshmallow. You can check miui.com for the latest version under Downloads section. For the RN3 Special/ International edition, the latest is just MIUI7

  • Are these phones actually good?? They seem pretty powerful and good value. Really think it is crazy how the latest Galaxy or iPhone costs over $800 when it probably only costs a few hundred at most to produce. A shame it misses out on NFC though.

    • +10

They are very good. But just shy of amazing. The rear camera is mediocre and operating system (update freq) falls short of flagship status, and there's no support for NFC (so no Android Pay), but the build quality and IPS display is almost on-par with competitors in the much higher price range.

For the price you can't complain though. There's no where else you can buy a Snapdragon 650 / 3GB-32GB / 4000mah / multi-band LTE phone for so little money.

      • +1

        Scrimmy always delivers!

      • There are NFC stickers for paywave from major banks. This could be a workaround.

    • This is the so-called Apple killer in china, but unfortunately they only killed Samsung…….

      • Xiaomi is falling behind actually, Huawei is going for top spot now.

  • How does this compare to the Redmi Note 4 and Redmi Pro

  • +1

Great phones. I've been using mine for a week now and have put Cyanogenmod on it instead of MIUI so it is like stock Android. Screen/performance/battery life is fantastic, the only area where it disappoints slightly is the camera.

    • Is there a stable release of CM for this phone?

      • Yes. Not sure if I like it though

        • What do you not like?

    • That is a shame about the camera. Is it really bad compared to Galaxy S6?

      • +2

Bruh, you seriously wanna compare the camera on a $240 device with one that retailed for over $700 at launch?
There's a reason these phones are inexpensive. Corners are cut in order to keep production costs down to a minimum, which in turn translates to the cost of said device.
If I was paying less than $300 for a phone, I wouldn't expect the camera to blow me away. These Xiaomi phones offer some of the best bang to buck ratios. For a 4000mAh juicer, I'd be all over this phone if I didn't already have 2 droids.

I'm impatiently waiting for the day when top OEMs would have 4000mAh+ batteries in their flagships.

      • +1

I have a Note 2 but I assume the camera on the Note 3 is slightly better if not atleast the same. Basically in good lighting (daytime) it can take good photos, definitely not bad, but definitely not Galaxy S6 quality (yes have used both). In poor lighting (lowlight/nighttime) it really struggles, this could be a deal breaker for you but for me I'm not a night owl so it doesn't worry me.

    • Looking at Cyanogenmod, the ROM seems to be for the non-global version of the phone:
      http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Kenzo_Info

      Does that matter?

      • Yes, the special/global edition is called Kate and looks like there's no official Cyanogenmod ROM for it yet, just the normal Kenzo.

  • +1

Has anybody had any luck finding a case for this version? I've ordered a couple but none fit as this version is 152.5mm long as opposed to 150mm of the standard version.

    • That is one thing which worries me about buying a phone like this, is the lack of cases and local support if you were to break it.

    • +2

I bought the ultra thin clear TPU cover for $1 on eBay and that fits nicely on the International version (Kate) I recently got. Had that cover lying around spare after I got a nillken cover for my Kenzo version and thought I'd try it.. At least the phone's not slipping out of my hands anymore.

  • Their prices are cheaper than most drop shipping sites.

Are these phones brand new and shipped in a sealed box?

    • Only 1pcs opened to check what in the box, others is sealed box.100% brand new.

    • And only this model is sealed box, because it is no need install other rom before shipping.

      • +1

TBH, I rather buy from you than AliExpress without warranty and 60 days shipping time.

      • +2

        What warranty do you provide?
Do I have to send back to China at my own cost ?

        • I too am curious, as I've encountered this problem in the past and it didn't go well at all

        • +1 Another one here having issue with the warranty in the past with online store.
          Thanks

  • These are good guys to deal with, fast postage and plenty of communication.Bought a Lenovo phone off them a bit over a year ago. Plenty of good reviews at Whirlpool.

  • +1

Definitely a plus from me.. esp if it ships within 24 hrs and if one is paying a bit extra for faster shipping. I would be on this if i hadn't already ordered one last week and still waiting..lol. as plenty have mentioned earlier..for the prices we are paying, why not.. the big drawcard for me is the bigger battery and it puzzles me why the bigger companies dont stick a equivalent sized battery in their flagship models..

    • +1

They will in time, and charge dearly for it too, like they do for internal storage.

    • Because they want our shiny new devices to be able to fit in our skinny jeans pickets.
Why they are so obsessed with thinness is beyond me.

      • +4

Because they want to make 'courageous' business decisions, sacrificing battery life, memory card slots, practicality and 3.5mm audio jacks so as to make thinner and sexier fashion phones. It's totally what the market wants.

Also, in tech journalism, nobody ever criticizes a phone for being 'too thin' — in fact it is praised when a certain Fruit company makes their phones 10 to 20 percent thinner than the previous generation Fruit phone. Sadly, every other wannabe-Fruit company will have the same great idea too, so you end up with flagship devices that have strictly 1-day battery lives.

If companies went backwards and make their new-gen phone thicker than the last, that will be brought up as a 'negative' aspect. So they seek to make their phones thinner every generation as a sign that their technology is improving, even though the battery is made smaller or headphone jacks have to be omitted to make that change.

        • Actually, I listen to multiple tech podcasts that complain about the thinness fetish as opposed to battery life.

  • Highly recommend this company, Got mine delivered super fast!

  • Do I need to re-flash to get rid of possible malware?

    • +2

      Affirmative.

    • More probable than possible. I'll be corrected to that it's mostly certain insteD

  • OP, it's a bit cheaper here ($172.99 USD) https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Official-Global-Ver…, let's bit this price and you'll get a lot of sales! :)

    • Your seller also includes the option of a screen protector and case (which presumably fits).

      • maybe, I just want to buy it cheaper, all those protector and cases which they threw in as a gift - really low quality anyway.

    • Save $7, from AliExpress v a known good seller. SMH.

    • These guys now want $US187.49

  • Hi Selina Wang,

Can you let us know where we can find case and glass screen protector for "International Version" of Xiaomi redmi 3 Pro?

It is strange that you are selling so many of "International Version" of this model and there is no suitable case and screen protectors in the China market.

    What is the story?

    Thanks.

    Morning Sun

    • Hello, maybe because it is just in stock in Hongkong,no factory product the case for this version,if it is in stock in mainland China, many factories will product case for this model.hope you can understand.

      • Okay, is it possible to check ebay Hongkong for the case and the screen protector? As I can't red Chinese, you may be able to help us with this.

    • Hello, maybe because it is just in stock in Hongkong,no factory product the case for this version,if it is in stock in mainland China, many factories will product case for this model.hope you can understand.

  • Last batch had sold out at 11 Otc,2016,it is pre-order now,will ship at 18 Otc,2016,pls know about it,thanks.

    • I ordered on 10/10/2016 order #100011273 and it has not shipped within the promised 24 hours.

      • Did you pay extra for DHL shipping ?

        • Yes I did.

        • @davidr:

          It just shipped.

        • @davidr:

Same here. Got a 10 digit number beginning 55.
We track it on DHL website, right?

        • Thats correct. My tracking number is showing a status of 'Shipment information received'

        • @Sparky:

Cool. Now we wait. I'm in PER.

        • @Sparky:

Hmm my tracking number isn't working. It comes up as not found.

        • @davidr:

Mine still showing as "shipment information received" which would suggest this hasn't been shipped yet. Same for you guys?

        • Same here. Not impressed. Aliexpress official Xiaomi store was cheaper too. Misleading to say that they would ship in 24 hours.

        • @aussie1990:

Yeah mine is still "shipping information received". Which is very strange for something that was supposedly shipped on Tuesday and it is now Friday.

        • @davidr:
My belief is that it will only ship on Tuesday next week, when they are back in stock…

        • @aussie1990:

Mine was picked up by DHL on Saturday.

        • @davidr:

Nice one. Mine is estimated to be delivered tomorrow (I'm in Perth). Exciting!
My latest status is "Customs status updated"

      • When I ordered a few months back their site did not update even though they had shipped it to me.. in the end I caught them on chat and they sent me a tracking number, which was wrong… so got on to them again and they send the right one… phone actually arrived the next day.

So in my case they were pretty good at actually shipping out, but not so good at keeping me informed.

        • Thanks for the explanation. Did the correct tracking number have statuses other then "shipment information received"?

        • @aussie1990:

          Honestly don't remember.

    • Any chance you can sharpen your price? Both Geekbuying and Gearbest now have vouchers for $US159.

Reading here, you have a better reputation than the 2 above but $20 seems like a large premium.

      Cheers

  • Selina, my order has not been shipped within the promised 24 hours. Order number 100040421

    • Hello, sparky, your parcel had shipped out yesterday, because you choose DHL,so i just get track number today.
and i had sent the track number to you few hours ago,pls check, thanks.
wish you can receive it soon, have a nice day!

      • Are you sure the item has actually shipped? 'Shipping information received' doesn't mean its left your warehouse.

  • I ordered when the page said "ship in 24 hours" and it hasn't been shipped yet. :-(

    Order # 100040435

    • Hello, you also choose DHL,the parcel had shipped yesterday,we just get track number today, and and sent track number to you few hours ago.
others who choose sg post, all receive track number yesterday.pls understand, thanks.

      • Thanks for your help.

  • I've been having problems with this phone that I never had with the note 2 (dropped in sea!) The bluetooth turns off after 5 mins on headphones, works intermittently in my car and doesn't send data (so i can't use the car stereo interface to skip tracks/answer calls etc). I can't update to the latest version of Miui as I just get can't verify update errors.

Honestly apart from the fingerprint sensor which is great, the note 2 was a rock solid worker compared to this
