anyone here have experience using these guys? some websites give this a 1.5star review but that may be a bit skewed - trust Ozb more :P
It's a terrible site, broken links everywhere. I'm not sure it's worth the risk..
Don't judge book by it's cover. Used them before to book 2 weeks in Singapore. No issues, and it was the cheapest rate compared to others since the promotion did not exclude any hotels. Pay with Citibank to avoid fees too.
I've used them before too whenever travelling around Asia and have again for a Singapore trip this December. I usually email the hotel straight away to confirm the booking and have had no problems. I have booked The Fullerton Hotel Quay Room with breakfast for $280AU per night (incl conversion and CC fees). Normal room rate with breakfast is around $460AU or about $400U using 15% promo codes using Venere.
Promo code can be applied; but I get this message upon checkout (for a hotel in Shinjuku, Japan):
"WE REGRET TO INFORM THAT THE EARLIER ROOM RATE/TYPE SELECTED WAS NOT APPLICABLE TO YOUR NATIONALITY.
No booking is made at this point. Below is a new set of rates applicable to your nationality.
Kindly select and proceed with your booking again.
We apologized for the inconvenience caused."Perhaps the code is not applicable to Australians?

This may mean that the chosen room and hotel deal is only available outside the Australian market. From Aus you won't be able to book the chosen room. It usually tells you this along with the room info.
Apply the promo code only after you entered the personal and payment details?
No you can apply promo code before entering personal and payment details. In the booking page, you can enter and validate the promo code by clicking "Cash voucher code / Discount code". You can find the link above the Visa logo and below the "How would you like to pay?" heading.
Where do you enter the promo code?
