    sorry to sound rude but $99 is the normal rate in the South Eastern suburbs of melb (at least springvale/keysborough/dandenong)

      Without a heat plate/lcd separator and molybdenum wire the glass itself will not do you any good, unfortunately. The separator machine is ~$100AU, the wire is cheap, but (apparently) getting the glass off without trashing the digitizer and screen is pretty difficult and takes some practice.

          Yeah, after writing it I thought that it seemed pretty pricey for just the glass so I checked and the glass itself is only about $15.

          My mistake.

          On the upside, you could probably buy the replacement glass, heat plate, and wire and it would only be a touch more expensive than this screen replacement. Of course, then you'd need to actually do it. Who doesn't love a challenge =)

      Highly doubt it. If you go on with this service and later on something goes wrong with your phone, apple can deny warranty service for your phone and charge you for out of warranty service fee ($400 ish)

        I believe they will even refuse out of warranty service and they will not take your phone as there is non genuine parts inside it.

    Also, this deal only covers the glass replacement. If you've cracked the LCD then this deal wont apply to you.
