      I've read all his books and love them all, still love this new one but it was missing abit to it. Felt more rushed than previous books but the next novel will start straight up from the end of this one so that might explain the rushed feeling.

    Years ago he did a signing just outside A&R and they were selling it for $45. I remember walking about 20m down to Big W / Target and picking up the same book for $25 then walking back to the queue and getting it signed :P

    The only trouble with books these days(and it's been this way for a while now unfortunately) is a popular author gets published in thicker and thicker books with correspondingly larger and larger typesets used. To me it is such a blatant ripoff that I'd want to see the product first in case I'm purchasing a bundle replete with empty space….this is no criticism of howdee's deal just a general comment.
